About
Arlington Lakes Golf Club is situated amid the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Locals treasure the course as one of the area's hidden gems. At 5,331 yards from the back tees, this par-68 layout is on the shorter side but don't underestimate its level of difficulty. Besides the mature trees that frame many of the holes and 14 lakes that come into play, there are more than 100 strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout also features small, sloped greens that demand accuracy but you can take comfort in the fact that there are no doglegs. With strategic shot-placement and a bit of luck, there are some birdie opportunities available. The shorter length of the golf course will appeal to beginners but it's versatile for more advanced players to enjoy as well.

Short but challenging
One of the best managed courses in the northwest side of Chicago. The day was extremely hot and humid and the pace was very slow because the foursome in front of us had a few golfers that were inexperienced. This is OK because everyone needs a chance to learn the game. The starter Celeste noticed that the pace was extremely behind and went out with a cart and told this foursome that they needed to move along because the course was backing up. This foursome then picked up the pace and everything ran smoothly as usual. I said it before and I'll say it again this staff and management is the best around and that's what makes this course so enjoyable. I have never passes a staff member that didn't say hello to me or greet me when I walked in the pro shop. The course is short but extremely nice for us old guys who like those 230 and 350 yard par 4's. The fairways and surrounding areas are well manicured and the greens are ok.

Ehhh…
Tight little course. Fairway was narrow miss to the left you hit a car miss to the right your in the water. It’s. Well kept golf course just not for me. To make it worst you have to play as a foursome and got paired with drunk/high that shank at every tee box. The course is beautiful and well kept just not a fan of narrow courses.

Short and Nice
Great short course for seniors. Course is 5400 yards well maintained and the best staff of any course in the area. Joe the starter did an excellent job of getting us off on time and then a woman starter (sorry forgot her name) handled the rain delay perfectly, getting everyone back on the course in order. I said it before and I'll say it again this course is run by top management. All employees are working together to make your round the best it can be.
