About
Arlington Lakes Golf Club is situated amid the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Locals treasure the course as one of the area's hidden gems. At 5,331 yards from the back tees, this par-68 layout is on the shorter side but don't underestimate its level of difficulty. Besides the mature trees that frame many of the holes and 14 lakes that come into play, there are more than 100 strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout also features small, sloped greens that demand accuracy but you can take comfort in the fact that there are no doglegs. With strategic shot-placement and a bit of luck, there are some birdie opportunities available. The shorter length of the golf course will appeal to beginners but it's versatile for more advanced players to enjoy as well.

Greens are burned out due to pond work staff and golf now should warn customers
Really good course, please water greens
I’ve lived in area for 35 years. Arlington is always a good track. Last 2 years, the greens at both Arlington Lakes and Nichol Knoll, both run by Arlington Park District, have been turning brown, and have many large patches of dead areas. Not my job to know who is responsible, I’m asking for someone to change this trend. Both are great facilities, I’ve played them 100 times. Need to address this for all our golfers!
Perfect Day
Course was in nice shape although they are in the beginning stages of pond repairs and drainage. Greens are a bit slow and grainy. With that said, weather was perfect. Great day to play
Fun round of golf!
I played this course many times and it never fails to make me happy to be out playing golf.
Coarse Flooded
Cart path only when I played due to the rain day before. Fairways were mushy and muddy.

Short but Good course
Shorter course however still challenging enough to make it a good round. Very well kept fairways even this late in the season. You can shoot low.

Solid course
This course was fantastic to play this time around. It was a warm day for October play so it was busy at the course however the pace of play was nothing short of excellent. Course was in good shape. The greens and bunkers weren’t in excellent shape but they played just fine. I’m personally a fan of the layout of this course because it sprinkles in a bit of everything in terms of distances and obstacles to account for. Overall, one of the best courses to get your moneys worth in the area.

Pace too slow
The pace of play was too slow. Would not recommend!

Decent course for high handicappers
I’ve played this course quite a bit over the past few years. The reason I think it’s good for high handicappers is because it’s not very long and the holes are very straightforward. It’s not the best course in the world but it’s also not the worst.
