About
Arlington Lakes Golf Club is situated amid the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Locals treasure the course as one of the area's hidden gems. At 5,331 yards from the back tees, this par-68 layout is on the shorter side but don't underestimate its level of difficulty. Besides the mature trees that frame many of the holes and 14 lakes that come into play, there are more than 100 strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout also features small, sloped greens that demand accuracy but you can take comfort in the fact that there are no doglegs. With strategic shot-placement and a bit of luck, there are some birdie opportunities available. The shorter length of the golf course will appeal to beginners but it's versatile for more advanced players to enjoy as well.

Decent course for high handicappers
I’ve played this course quite a bit over the past few years. The reason I think it’s good for high handicappers is because it’s not very long and the holes are very straightforward. It’s not the best course in the world but it’s also not the worst.

Arlington Lakes Golf Club
Multi million dollar renovation is impressive. Lots of ponds makes it a challenge to score well, but, forces one to concentrate more. It was very fun and enjoyable playing this course. Recommend it to anyone. I will play here again.

Great find
We live in the city so try to find fun new courses. This course was a pleasant surprise. It was in great condition. Challenging with all the water but fun! Make sure to bring extra balls. Can’t wait to go back .

great condition
I hadn't played this course since before 1990.
I played it 06/28/2023. I was so impressed I played it again 06/29/2023.(I left my gps there the day before. I had to pick it up so I might as well play it again, right ?
Short course - 5432 from the tips. Don't let that fool ya. Water gets in your head. It comes into play if you let it. It's called Arlington Lakes for a reason.
With this drought condition, the course is in outstanding condition. Greens are green and rolling. Fairways are green and rolling. Bunkers play well. The cuts between the rough and fairway are sharp and well-defined.
Nice course and the 2 times I played, the course was not crowded and i played in under 3 hours.
Enjoyable rounds.

Fun little course
The course is short but takes accuracy. We played 18 in just under 4 hours on a Sunday. Friendly staff.

This is a good muni. Great for a practice round. Weather has been hot and dry, course plays firm. Price is ok but nothing special.

Enjoyed this course. Not hard, but you have to to pay attention. A good course for hitting your irons.. No cart for drinks on the course.

Expecting more for the price
Not a good value for what you get. Other places nearby where $65 for 18 nets you better quality and friendlier staff. No one was rude but lack of energy from staff makes a difference for that type of money and hype provided.
