Course very picturesque and in good shape. Sand cranes even out to join in the fun.

Course is in really good shape. The staff is very friendly. Include this in your fall golf stops.

PACE: Had a late Sunday morning tee time and from what I saw online, the tee sheet looked full. Given reviews I read for this course I was expecting it to be slow. We finished in just under 4 hours, and only had short waits on a handful of holes.

CONDITIONS: Tee boxes were scruffy and chewed up in spots. Fairways and greens were good (greens rolled really well). Bunkers were not good... actually the one on #15 was just dirt.

STAFF: Very friendly and helpful.

VALUE: Having got the Hot Deal, this was a great value for me. However, after looking up the full rate for this course I would only play here with the online deal.

LAYOUT: Really fun layout witha wonderful mix of holes. Lots of carries over water. Short challenging par 4s, and long straightforward par 4. I was actually surprised to see that #8 is a par 5 and #9 is a par 4... after playing them I would've guessed otherwise. There are a few blind, or partially hidden, tee shots. This course is very walkable.

Course in great shape! I wish the course had better yardage markers or GPS on the golf carts.

The track is fantastic along with the conditions of the fairways and greens. Very challenging, target golf, plenty of hazards but rewards good shots. A variety of different styles of holes and shot making decisions. Highly recommend

As long as you can deal with somewhat slow pace of play, you will not find better for the money anywhere in the area. The blue tees are a bit tore up I guess from seeing a lot of play but that can be worked around. Greens are in great shape, as are fairways bunkers and rough. You’re not gonna find any patches of dirt in the first cut or even the second on this track.

Orchard Valley has returned to the condition it was in before Billy Casper golf took over. The course gets a extreme amount of play but was in great shape. Greens rolling great and fairways beautiful. Only complaint is and this is not Orchard Valley fault, golfers FIX YOUR BALL MARKS. To many not fixing them. We played as a threesome in 315 as the third group off. I think in the years I have played there the longest round might have been 420 and we usually play on the weekend

Solid 4 stars overall. Recommend highly. Well designed challenging track. Excellent value for seniors $39 during week.

OV always receives an extreme amount of play. Greens were in amazingly decent shape but really pocked marked with ball marks....sand traps were "maintained" and fairways while divot laced did have consistent good grass. Bathrooms mid-nine front and back as well as one after 9 (halfway house still closed near the driving range which was off grass this day).

We were really fortunate - an empty afternoon tee sheet allowed our 3-some to play at our own pace completing our round in well under 4 hours (320) which never happens here. I was pleasantly surprised at the course conditioning....much better than anticipated. Did not check to see if the showers/locker room is open in the basement.
