About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

Nice Layout, Green in Poor Shape
I enjoy playing Bartlett Hills, however the greens were sanded and aerated with no prior warning. I would not play there again this fall.

A little rough but playable
Lot’s of play over Labor Day weekend , recently sanded but greens rolled true, lots of ball marks not repaired at midday, tee boxes a bit dried out but course in good playing shape overall after the recent drought. The city does a good job with this xourse.

Nice course
Course was good for value of what I paid. .... pace was awesome...with COVID19 however, I was very disappointed they did not have "touchless" golf which is what is the norm today unfortunately ...... they require masks all over club house, restaurant, etc...but funny course was vulnerable...but all in all..great course will come again...

First and not last
Played here for first time and really enjoyed the layout. Interesting holes, nice conditions and well kept. Classic old school design that places a premium on well executed tee shots and approaches. It is not as overly tight as I read online and I used driver from back tees the entire round. Been wanting to play here for some time and definitely will play again before season end. Great layout with plenty of elevation change and tree framed fairways and greens. It is tight with respect to a lot of holes are in danger range for others errant shots and folks need to just leave golf balls where they lie if not yours. I am not a huge fan of Par 3 finishing holes regardless if signature hole or not but this one is a fun hole. Just wish it wasn't the 18th.

Prepare to be Challenged
This is on ly the second time I've played Bartlett Hills in 2 years, and it doesn't have hills in its name for nothing.. This is a very hilly course with a mix of challenges throughout. Elevate greens and tees all over the place, strategically placed bunkers, wetlands, etc. If you are looking for a challenge this is a good course.. To start off #1 has bout a 30 ft elevated green. #2 short dogleg right par and then a 200 yd par 3 on #3. and then ends with a flyover water par 3 on #18. This course will reward you well if you can keep it in the fairway, if not the strokes will rise. Take your time and think through each hole. I was glad to get back to this course because I was able to shave 9 strokes off my score from last time and it is an enjoyable course to play. Looking forward to playing it again.. Place of play was great, in under 3 hours. Make it on your bucket list of courses to play.

Lost my sunglasses
I lost my sunglasses somewhere on the back 9. Maui Jim, flexible, black.
Course is in great shape, I love the course, got a little bit of everything good about the game.
We waited on every tee box for what seemed like 5 minutes each hole, but we played in under four hours, my son pointed out it was probably because we weren’t looking for lost balls on every hole. That has been a problem this year, not being able to find balls you normally would, but not here at Bartlett Hills.
They take good care of a great course, go treat yourself, and if you find my sunglasses.....

Nice course
The course layout was very nice, the conditions were great. The only bad was no gps on the carts and the carts were really slow.
