About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

Bring back the ball washers and water jugs on the course
Really nice course but they haven’t brought back the ball washers. At least have them on some of the holes.
Nice track
Had a nice amount of trees ,traps and forgiving fairways. Decent bang for the buck.
Great course
Love playing this course. It raining in the morning but the greens still rolled fast and true.
A couple of holes had construction which moved tee boxes.
Several tee boxes were negatively effect by construction on the course. Course conditons were also quite good. Lightning fast green.
Course has great conditions
Course was fun and different for the area. One of the more hilly courses I have played locally. I play a lot of the private courses in the area and would have to say these green are as good as any country club
Construction
The course informed us at check in that hole 13 was closed. There was a temporary hole set up which was almost like mini golf, with the distance being so short. It definitely was not comparable but hey, things happen. What made the experience very poor was that there was hole 15 closed as well, with no makeup hole and no heads up given, even from the starter who was sure to mention hole 13 being closed. Therefore, I played 16 holes and paid for 18.
Ongoing work
Enjoyed the round, however there is ongoing work to install sprinklers which meant we were unable to play the tenth hole. Probably would have played a different course if we had known.
Greens
The layout was cool. The scenery was beautiful. Fairways were immaculate. The greens were very tricky and FAST. I love it.
Firm and Fast Greens
Some of the fastest and funnest greens we have played in the area.
Good course and facilities. They are however going through a major irrigation system upgrade. So conditions are not great currently. Past experiences have been good though. Looking forward to coming back when the project and course updates are complete.
