About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

oh my the greens
It may not be the longest course, but it has well laid out for even the longest hitters. But man were the greens amazing! silky smooth and fast but not because they were hard as concrete. Plenty receptive on approach, just make sure to leave it below the hole ;)

Fun
Beautiful course. Each hole presented something unique. Great balance of challenging and playable, and they’ve taken great care to showcase the colorful nature throughout the property.

Slow slow slow
Played Sunday. But there were many open tee times and several 3somes.
But play horribly slow which started on hole 8.
Took almost two hours to play 10-15. We quit.
Couldn't take it any longer.

Ball Washers and Drinking Water
Both haven’t brought back since Covid. Would be nice to fill up on water especially when walking in the summer. Staff in the clubhouse could be a little more pleasant, a hello and thank you would go a long way.

Good course
This is a great course. Very difficult but fair. Is in great shape.

The Course Wide Open at Noon
We used the GolfNow rate at noon and the course was wide open. The greens were in very good shape and it's been kind of dry with no rain the past week. The traps on number nine hole needed more sand, but most traps were not in play during the round. The staff were friendly in the clubhouse and bar afterwards. We sat on the outside balcony overlooking the 18th green.

Just AMAZING!! I've played a lot of courses and by far this is the BEST one yet!! Highly recommend 😁👍 Greens/ Fairways top notch! Friendly staff in Pro Shop and Beautiful patio for 🍻🍻

Great course fantastic staff at Proshop!
We golfed on a Thursday so the course was not as busy as a Friday - Sunday. There was no wait ever and no pressure from front or behind. The driving range is a big plus. If there is one complaint, it is the bunkers. They can get quite hard but a quick raking clean and drop makes for a far attempt. Definitely worth the cost!

Hilly
The course is top notch front to bottom, for really not that much money. I’m not picky about course conditions and this place always blows my expectations out of the water in that regard. Whoever designed this course did a fantastic job as well. Variety in green complexes, risk reward decisions, not being sure which way my putt is breaking sometimes which I kinda love. It’s very playable for any golfer and yet still challenging for skilled golfers. 10/10 recommend
