What happened?
Not sure what happened since the last time i played this course (June 2019) but its in terrible condition !
Overgrown weeds all over, , bunkers with NO sand greens beat up and dried up. The course needs help.
The reason I choose to play here it today was due to the HOT DEAL I found on the internet.
It turned out to be an OK DEAL.

No refund from Golfnow, based on weather
Checked into Villa Olivia at designated tee time at 11:00a on 06/26 (pre-paid through Golfnow) and not able to play due to weather conditions and not able to push back the tee time. The gentlemen at the clubhouse was more than willing to help out, but was limited since I made the reservation with Golfnow. The major problem, is not able to reach out to anyone to rectify the situation.....not sure why it’s so difficult, to talk to a human being.

Fun Father's Day round
First full 18 holes of 2020. Fun time at Villa. Have played there over 75 times as it's close to home. Easy check in with Covid limitations. Carts and course in good shape. Greens had some rough spots. Halfway house being open was a pleasant surprise. Pace of play was fine.

Worst Shape I have Ever Seen
This is by far the worst shape I have ever seen on a golf course. The grass wasn't cut. Made it extremely difficult to find your ball even in the fairways. Half the grass was dead. Then the putting greens were mostly sand. Hardly any grass on there and all you saw was deep footprints. Not worth the price I paid to play one bit. I was excited to cause Villa Olivia was always regarded as a nicer upscale place and this course just ruined it for me. Most likely won't go back.

Not bad
Played a round here today. Greens were in bad condition. Worst greens I’ve come across this year. The grass was burnt and just overall poor condition. Rough was deep as well. To be fair we had a lot of high winds lately with the storm, so I won’t bash them for some debris out there. Overall neat course lay out, the back 9 is cool with the elevation around the ski hills. I would play here again.

Clean up the mulch
Villa Olivia is a good Golf course to play when it is taken care of. The day I played there was clippings of grass around that made finding your ball difficult even when hit in fairway. Although I did play it 1 week after they were allowed to open.

5/29/2020
first time playing the course this season and came by to play a round of 18 holes with a friend. From the time entering pro shop it was stellar customer service , the cart guy was beyond polite and courteous. The course was in great shape. At the end of the round one of the employees was talking with us and we were thanking them for having us out to play. It’s nice to see great staff stay interactive with the players. Can’t wait to play again at your location.

Nice course, but why the huge jump in green fees?
First time playing Villa Olivia. 9 holes. Front 9. I always loved the front 9 because it provides an excellent variation. However, $19 walking? Huge increase over last year. Course was in nice shape. My only complaint would be the greens. Way too shagy. Always been this way. They need to be rolled or something. But overall I love the front 9.

Nice overall course, back 9 is extremely hilly and tiring to walk. Back 9 is also more picturesque and challenging.

Supposed to have ports potty in 3 spots. I saw none!!! What if I were female? What if I got diarrhea???REALLY BAD AND STUPID!!! I Will call before i play there again

Not great
Not a great course. Was in poor condition and over priced for what it is. Pace of play was slow, I got to ski lift wires during play and it was really wet. The staff was super friendly and there were some fun holes but there are better courses

Not Great
The staff was friendly, there are some interesting holes but the course was not in great shape and was not worth the $40 we paid to play it.
Not ready for play
I played front nine twice. The thing is pin flags for all 9 holes were not set on the greens, so I had to make shots without target. I set the flags after cup in each hole, but other players did just lay the flags on the greens after their play, so when I played rhe 2nd front nine, glags were not set and just on the green. I made a call from the course a few times, but no one answered, although staff members were in the club house.
Fun Elevations!!
Real fun course would definitely play again! The different elevations make it a awesome view and challenging. The staff was super friendly. I’ll be going back for sure.
