Villa Olivia Country Club

This has to be the worst course in Chicagoland. I can't believe people even say this is a decent to good course. The fairway length was almost as long as most courses second rough and the rough was above your shoes. They haven't cut that grass in well over a week. Then they push us back almost an hour because of the senior's members who were taking their sweet time teeing off and also a couple groups had groups of 5 or more. It's an embarrassment and I hope someone buys this course and fires everyone there. These people should never be allowed to work at a golf course again.

Tons of great holes and friendly staff. And got a great deal so I would definitely recommend trying out this course!

Staff was great! $46 online reservation for Sunday if holiday weekend.

Cart shortage?? Only one working unit avaiat our teatime,( lots on repair area), supposed reason was several groups ahead went 1 man per cart. If so that’s something the starter should have controlled.

The course just is not maintained well. Seems like they are trying to extract as much money out of the property as they can and put VERY little back into the course.

There are 3 holes (15,16,17) nicely taken care of, but unfortunately all the other holes are poor (at best).

I would not recommend this course and have no plans to ever stop at this course again unless my car breaks down in front of the property entrance!

Great course layout. Love the hills. Lots of fun

We had not played Villa Olivia for a couple of years because of poor conditions. Decided to try it because we had some good memories from the good young days when we played it often. We were pleasantly surprised that the conditions were much better.

It was very hard to understand why this course could not cut or maintain tee boxes. Line you were teeing off on your back yard. Course layout is nice could be a very nice course if taken care of. The 18 dollar golf now rate made it a value . I would never pay full price.

This course was the worst maintained course I’ve ever played on. Conditions were disgusting. So many weeds in the fairway, it’s hard to call it a fairway. I’ll never play here again, especially at that price. No idea how anyone can call this place a golf course.

Tee boxes are pretty bad. Grass was long and very uneven. Have fun on the par 3s.

Be ready to loose balls if you can hit a fairway on the front 9. Lost a bunch of balls due not not being able to find them in the rough due to length and dandelions.

Other than those issues the course was fun.

The course could be amazing if they invested in a lawnmower. Weeds everywhere, it was incredibly hard to find balls that week all hit barely in the rough. Collectively we lost at least a box of balls. It was a joke to us at the end. They need to invest in weed killer and cut their grass

For the time of year the course was ok condition. There is upgrades going on the back nine. Halfway house was open . But not good. For the money and novice player this course is for you. Shot75 second time out this year.

The tee boxes need to be leveled out, always have to find a place to tee off from that is level and not barren of grass

A very average course but usually isn’t too busy, good price and layout is pretty good. Don’t expect a fantastic course and you will enjoy your round.
