Villa Olivia Country Club

Got to play golf after a rough winter and overly cold spring. First time out this year and found the course in really good shape considering the cold spring we have been having. Staff is great as always and maintenance of the course is excellent. Should make for a great summer experience.

Great condition for early season. Staff meetinis very cool and easy going. Great course to get practice in. Greens a bit shagy and will need to be rolled at some point. Other than that, I'm a fan.

Nice course. Great value for 9 holes. I don't know how you can beat it. The course is not perfect but what course is. However, I play this course almost every day and find that it provides me with enough challenge to sharpen my game. Unfortunately, I have more sharpening to do... :-)

I haven’t played this course in years and was surprised how well it was playing. I used to play this course all the time between 10 and 20 years ago. Fairways and greens were awesome but the tee boxes were awful. This is the only complaint I have about this course. Otherwise I had a great round. Course is always fun with 3 par 5s on the front and especially the first few holes on the back 9 playing on the ski hill. Always a good time.

I usually play the front 9 only. In regards to the front 9, great condition and a decent challenge due to trees. They just got new carts which was badly needed and a significant improvement. The only negative I have is in regards to the greens. They are in nice shape but need to be rolled. They are spongy and somewhat shaggy resulting very poor roll and feel. Other than that, very nice and fun course.

The course is NOT a $45+ golf course. There are piles of leaves as well as literally hundreds of rotting apples just left on the ground to stink up the place. The fairways were baked out, but the staff was watering the greens at 1pm?! The greens were soaking wet, the bunkers full of water, and the fairways total hardpan. There was no cart girl, which is fine for a week day, but no halfway house, and also no restaurant or bar open after the round. The best you could do was a Gatoraide from the pro shop. Pretty sad condition for the golf course and a beautiful accompanying facility of which nothing was open or accessible. If you are going to charge me $45 for a dog track, at least justify it with great amenities. This place is in poor condition, overpriced, with zero regard for the customers needs, unless 2 gross on course public water coolers is your thing.

Greens were like Velcro compared to other muni courses. Fun layout but I can't play those greens.

Been playing this course, 9 holes, several times recently. Course is in good shape and the staff is very helpful and courteous. All in all, a great experience and I will be golfing there again and again.

Decent course. Greens too soft and slow. Roll them or something. Carts are terrible. But you can't beat the value.
