Settler's Hill Golf Course

Booked on golf now for $46, they changed prices to $61 and wouldn’t accept my booked rate. Fairways are ok, the rough on most holes barely have grass, tons of dirt patches everywhere, greens have pitch marks and dead spots everywhere. Not worth the money, every public course within 15 miles is cheaper and better quality.

Settlers went through a redesign a few years ago but still struggles with drainage and what seems like tough growing conditions. Greens are always a little rough, and grass is patchy throughout the course. It could be improved if people were better about filling divots and fixing ballmarks. Still a fun and challenging layout.

Course did not have carts available for 4 groups causing my group to tee off 30 minutes after our slotted tee time. We were backed up on every tee box, front 9 took 3 hours on a Sunday. Golf Now advertised a $31 rate for green fees and cart but when we got to the course they charged $41 and said the GN price wasn’t real.

Had a 3:30 tee time, didn’t tee off till 4 to lack of carts. Pro shop didn’t honor golf now prices despite being able to book on golf now. Played for 5 and a half hours and only was able to complete 16 holes.

Bring a hammer or drill for the tee boxes. I broke several tees just trying to get them into the ground. Do you enjoy having a windscreen on your golf cart? If so then make sure you stop and grab Saran Wrap before your tee time and make your own screen LOL.

Fairways are full of dirt and fungus infected grass. It just smelled weird there, realized after the round that the course was actually built on top of a landfill. Be prepared to not take divots, or risk breaking your wrists cause the ground might as well be concrete on some of the holes.

Theres way better tracks that charge the same rate with way better playing conditions and beyond.

I have played this course a couple of times. It is a fine course to play. I played in early December so it’s winter conditions. I would play again in the winter too. The course was maintained as well as could be hoped for during this season. They are doing some coursework for the summer, but they mark it well and they are taking care of their customers. Thanks!

Played in November so greens weren’t as great as they could be but all in all they were in good shape. Great course for a great rate!

Course was in overall good shape. The greens were fairly beat up but mostly due to inconsiderate golfers not repairing ball marks. The clubhouse is in a very odd location for the course but that seems due to planning for a realignment of the course.

This is a dump on a dump! The course was in poor shape and we kept having problems with the golf cart. They moved hole one to hole two which made no sense at all. Also got screwed out of the 20% off with tee off when I booked it.

Quit after 9. Entire course was like playing off of concrete. May would play again if they lowered price to $20 a round.

Course needs some water and tender care..fairways were sparse of grass and rough was.thin...I do like the layout, as it is more challenging than before the recent renovation...

Quite a bit overpriced for the condition the course is in. The layout is a ton of fun, especially when the wind is blowing. Cool views from high up. Lots of challenging blind shots. The condition of the course is really disappointing. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in really rough shape. No halfway house operating.
