About
Situated on the Cuneo Estate in Vernon Hills, White Deer Run Golf Club has a beautiful landscape dotted with sparkling lakes. The rolling terrain provides plenty of elevation changes, meaning there are some uneven lies and the occasional blind shot in store for you. There are not many trees but numerous bunkers lurk beside the greens and, of course, water is a pretty prominent presence throughout the golf course. Due to the plentiful and strategically placed hazards, the course puts a premium on accuracy. The layout is challenging but fair and it is also player friendly enough for beginners, offering ample room off of the tees. White Deer Run Golf Club's design contributes greatly to the course's playability, but that is also partly due to the immaculately manicured fairways and fast, well conditioned greens.

Decent round but soooo slow
Nice course. Usually very nice conditions. Extremely slow pace on a Thur afternoon at 2pm?
No ranger to be found
No beverage cart even once
Pace of play is terrible and people have no class
Stay away much better options out there in the Northshore for that price!
Nice layout
Very nice layout. They must get a lot of play because they course was pretty beat up. Goose poop EVERYWHERE. Other than that it was a pretty nice course.

Green’s are exceptional and the course is in great condition. We will definitely be back this fall!
White Deer Run
Great value early in the morning and not crowded at all
greens
Golf course has a beautiful facility, good condition tee to green but the greens were in terrible condition, ball marks everywhere which took the fun out of playing the course. I have played this course a few times before and it was always in good condition so I was
surprised by the condition of the greens
Rough Greens
This is normally a very good track. The greens were some of the worst I have ever seen.
Solid all around
Fun course. Trouble out there but fairways wide enough for all player abilities. Only downside was unfixed ball marks everywhere which seems to be a bigger problem these days on public courses.
Course was in immaculate shape! Some of the bunkers were not in the best condition but this was due to the huge amount of rain we’ve had. Will definitely be back.
