Poor sprinkler management
In general this is a nice and forgiving course however should not have to dodge in and out of the sprinklers when the ball lands by them. There should be an automatic shut off
Course conditions
Grounds were really dried , super fast surface
Very unforgiving . Needs more water and maintenance
Good place to get in 9
A little overpriced. But a nice place to get in some swings. Good to see they were actually working on some of the tee boxes. If you play the Forest Preserve courses, the discount card is a must.
Big Bad Billy C
Great value, great time. I played in my weekly NASA Invitational with my crew - we had a blast(off). The ghost of Billy assisted Two Putt Tom with an impeccable 30 yd chip right into the hole. Impressive stuff.
What was even more impressive was the breeding ground of Stay Puft Marshmallow man-sized hornets on the 8th fairway. Loved to see it. #savethehornets
We'll be back.
Good for a practice round
Not too bad. Weather was great, pace was very good but a few tee boxes moved and it was pretty messy. I’d go back though it’s close and good if you go early.
A Home Course for All Abilities
this course is well maintained and open to any skill level of golfer - the staff is friendly and while the rate of play may lag at times, there is always a friendly golfer to chat with and kill the time; not overly challenging, but a great place to practice the skills of the game and work on shots in a real atmosphere
Tee boxes
On several holes the tee boxes were being worked on and they offered no alternative. Overall the course was in fair condition, maybe not worth the price but conveniently located.
Don’t expect to play quickly
Great course to go out and enjoy some time ( 3 hours ) with your friends. Priced fairly and course was in ok condition.
Pace is slow so plan accordingly.
