If all the cook county forest preserve courses were given a little more attention they could all be at least a full star nicer...it's too bad they don't invest a little more in maintenance / customer service. Frequently overbooked and some extra love shown to the turf would go a long way. Still not a bad option for 9 holes.

Variety of skills are needed to complete the course (long drives, water hazards, hills, dog legs) but are evenly spaced out throughout the course. Very friendly staff welcomes you in and gets you on your way. Parking lot convenient to the first tee. This was a great course to take Dad to enjoy golfing and time together.

I like Caldwell, I play it often. The pace of play was good, The course is in great shape for late August. A couple of greens were a little beaten up from player volume. The course is generally well maintained and fun to play.

The holes are close together and no golf etiquette. People playing shots in our fairway when we were teeing off multiple times.

Course in good condition, well maintained, congenial staff, challenging for a bogey golfer, a good walk, and a good value.

This is a very good 9 hole golf course. The grass is taken care of very nicely.
