Robert A. Black Golf Club

I love that I can ALWAYS visit Robert Black for.a quick 9 holes….the staff is fantastic and I get an opportunity to play with some great golfers as well…kudos to Lance and the staff.

Challenging for a small city golf course. Some fun layouts. Could use a few more amenities around the course. Water and ball washers to mention a couple. Well wirth it.

Course was in great condition. Not crowded. Congenial players.

I like the layout greens are slow but true. Course is short like 2,500 yards for a nine holes.

Play can be very slow so go in off peak times.

Greens are slow but course in good shape. Staff is very nice just to many new golfers so play is very slow I won’t go back until the fall 3 hard for nine holes really?

Great short course for Chicago. Multiple par 3s and we’ll kept. Rather busy but good value for the spot.

I live a mile from here and felt like getting 9 in for lunch so I figured I’d try this 9 hole city course. To my surprise this course was in great shape! The fairways are short but beautiful. Greens are challenging and manicured really well! Great place to leave the drivers home and hone your irons!

The courses in good condition and it’s fun to play. There are lots of bunkers and challenging shots. The short game practice area is very good.

Robert Black is the best 9 hole track in the city. Easy to get to and very seldom hard to get a tee time at. The staff is super friendly and the course is in great condition. Perfect for a mid-week round, it may not be long but the track provides plenty of opportunity to hone in your game.
