Haven’t played in 30ish years, way better that I remembered
Last time I played here was in the mid 90s. And old school Chicago “muni”, welcome mat tees, no sand in the bunkers and literal trash in the rough. No real difference between the fairway and the collar/rough/collar.
This was a great experience and the course was a lot of fun.
Pure
For the price, there’s no better track within 30 miles. I had no expectations but for $14… the track was pristine. Challenging course but forgiving and unique.
Try another course
We went to this course for the first time and we were forced to play with 2 randoms that have never played before or knew golf etiquette. I understand with the size of the course they want to make sure pace of play keeps up but man it made 9 holes feel like we almost played 18. Also, no beer or alcohol beverages was a drag that should have been told on their site. Would recommend to go to the other Chicago golf courses over this one.
