Edgebrook Golf Course

Par 4 course with no hazards but poorly kept. Blue tee box on every hole is a square of turf on an asphalt slab. There’s no beverage cart service and you don’t reach the club house again until the 18th hole. Pace of play is very slow. But an affordable option for being so easy to reach within the city.

I’m not one to leave reviews, but this place needs it. Started with not being able to rent carts, no starters, no ability to rehydrate at any turns. Groups try to cut and pass you up with it’s already back up! Took nearly 4 hours to get to the 13th. No Save your money and go play 9 down the street at Caldwell. You’ll thank me later! If you want to play 18 that’s less than 5000 yards with rubber tee box’s with artificial grass this this is your spot

Get your carts and staff in order. My group was told we needed to walk when there was 8 carts available the entire time. Clown show all around. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Greens were great. Hope they get rid of synthetic mats on tee boxes in the future.

Fun Course Makes you play within yourself . No trying to overhit or you go out of bounds and loose your ball or onto other fairways possibly hit other Golfers .Greens and playing surface very good. Only reason I gave a 4 star was back tee box you hit off a mat, Wasn’t easy to get desired tee height.

This isn't the best course in the area, but it's not trying to be and it's not supposed to be. It's a fun course with some good variety mixed in. Great place to practice your game. Priced fair and almost always has tee times available.

Course conditions were okay last time I went, but were good this day because of recent rains.

Worst 40 dollars on golf ever spent. Course is a joke, and in terrible condition. It’s fine to not have a great course, but don’t charge that much to play it.

It was fun to play a Cook County Forest Preserve golf course. It was in decent condition and the pace of play was good. It’s not a hard course so, it’s great for new players and people that just want to have a casual round of golf.

Decent quality for price. There could work on reopening the mid course booth and sell some food. I liked that you can purchase “rescue” golf balls there for a good price.

Super easy course... very short. Decently maintained. Tee boxes are off driving range mats.

Overall a great course for the money. Pace of play can get unusually slow, but that is more due to the short par 4’s and who is in front of you, rather than the course itself.
