Course !
Play the course when ever I am in Chicago ! Have payed it since it opened ! Great course !
Greens and Tee boxes
Greens and tee boxes are starting to show their year to year abuse with no sand to give out to players and Greens are starting to get malnourished with water.
Good place love the pace of play
The staff very nice and friendly, we will definitely play again and bring other friends

Back to Oak Grove
Enjoyed our return. Course was in good shape in general. Greens were extremely slow. Lots of bare divots on the fairway. Thee external club house still looks bad. Glad to see nice metal roof and 2 updated wall sections by the front door. New pine deck railings, steps, boards look good but cheap wood is going to age quickly
Busy/ Need a range Marshall and Bells for the over and down the hill Holes
A range Marshall would be cool now that it’s getting busier with the multiple mulligan and slow players. The over the hill and down holes like hole 4 and hole 6 there should be a bell once guys get passed the mid range point going towards the Greens.
Once a nice course
You need a hammer to set a Tee in most tee boxes. . Traps are filled with dirty sand and stones,, and the greens are inconsistent cut and hard.
A few years back this course was in very good shape. Unfortunately it has fallen into disrepair which is a shame since it has a nice layout,.
Course Early Season
Early season the Greens, Fairways and Tee boxes are pretty pristine. I really hope this year they take better care of them once it gets warmer. They need to be supplying sand on this course for better preventative maintenance with how crowded for can get. Please Oak Grove keep up on the tee boxes and greens!
Course tee boxes are in horrible shape. Greens could use more care, no one cleaning off debris on the greens. Driving range was is great shape but no one was allowed to use the driver, mats only, there was no clear justification.
Golf time
Staff pro in the front was a different person and was super friendly. Pace was fine and the course was good. I like golfing here and will golf this location a few times a year.
