Patriot Hills Golf Club

We've been playing here the past 2 years. Staff is friendly enough. Realize it's early in the year and course hasn't come in yet, but thought it was in worse condition than this time last year.
Have yet to see the snack bar open.
All in all I enjoy playing here.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this course. The reviews on Golf Now were good but the course website was junk and did the course no justice at all. I was very presently surprised. This is a really nice course with a great track. It gives you mountain golf without the gimmicky holes. There is lots of trouble to get into, yet the course is extremely fair. Greens were good, especially for this early in the season and ran true. I definitely recommend this course. Note to course manager - you have a course in a very high tourist area and as such, your website is very important. Design a website that will do your course justice because it really is a hidden jewel!

Very good course. Hard to find balls in the rough. Overall, moderate difficulty.

Overall the course was in great condition. All the staff were super, considering a lot of courses have an attitude about Golfnow people not paying enough.

Course in good condition, very smooth greens - an enjoyable round!

This course makes you work your short game and forces you to control your drives. The greens were incredibly fast but fun.

I play every Saturday, and enjoy the course and the hospitality of the staff.

Course was in excellent shape. Fast, large greens, and wide fairways, made this an enjoyable round. Several holes benefit the golfer who can move the ball left & right off the tee. Plenty of hills, but not the shear slopes of some mountain courses. I'll be back, for sure!

A fun 18 holes in a relaxed atmosphere. The course was in great shape and the people were very friendly. This is on my "keeper" list to play again. I enjoyed it better than "resort" golf I played the day before at Sevierville.

Patriot Hills is a good course. It is usually kept in very good condition. The greens are nice. The difficulty is average. I recommend this course without reservation.

Even with all the rain in the morning, course was very playable! Very nice course, and cool relaxed atmosphere!

Staff is always friendly and course is in fairly excellent condition, except for the greens. They were just a little rough where players haven't repaired their own divots. If everyone took the time and fixed the divots the course would be exceptional. Maybe the answer to the course manager's problem is to give away free divot tools at check in and remind everyone to be courteous and repair their own divots.

I've played the course twice now, and both times it's been a good experience. The greens are quick, but consistent. It is a deceptively difficult course requiring some long approach shots from difficult angles. both times I played the course i reached the turn between 1230 and 1 pm and found the clubhouse grill closed so I can't say anything about the food. Deer wandered around the course making for some great scenery.

This course was a very nice surprise. The course was in nice shape. The scenery was outstanding. The course instills confidence with a little bit wider fairways and its little less threatening placement of sand traps. You can still get in trouble here, don't get me wrong. I really enjoyed the day here.

I have played this course around 12 times this year. For the money it is a decent value. The variety of holes is good and the course is in good shape. The practice putting green is excellent but the driving range suffers from space issues. If you hit your driver past 275 yards it is not allowed on the range. No beer but excellent hamburgers. Yardage markers are scarce and they have no water coolers anywhere. There is no starter and no rangers. It is a very laid back establishment. So much so it becomes a detriment to patrons. If you reserve a tee time do not count on it being honored. I reserved a full price tee time on their website. When I arrived on time, my tee time was pushed back 40 minutes because a group of 12 people playing together got stuck in traffic on the way to the course. It is basically whoever gets to the tee box first gets honors. I confirmed that the clubhouse personnel know this and they are perfectly fine with it. The only reason I cannot recommend this course is because of the lack of a tee time policy. A round takes long enough to play as it is.

Fun time for all great track. The course is in great shape well worth the money.
