Broken Arrow Golf Club - South/East
About
Broken Arrow Golf Club, located just southwest of Chicago's Loop, offers 27 holes of championship golf. There are three nines: East, North, and South that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The South/East Course begins with a links-style nine. The front of the course is accented by the landmarks of its former use as a farm. The original farmhouse and silo can be seen from the first teebox. Throughout the front nine, golfers will be faced with 22 bunkers, seven ponds, and multi-tiered greens. The golf course doesn't get any easier on East nine, which is arguably the most difficult of the three. The back nine features a slew of sloped fairways, hidden water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers. Course management is essential throughout the entire golf course.

9 Hole layout on South course Photo submitted by DavidLaDuke on 04/06/2015
Nice course
Nice course all around. All three 9 hole courses offer something a little different from the other. Nice layout, always in pretty good condition. Fair prices as well for a round of 18.
Great course for the price
Great course for the price, finished in around 3.5 hours. Looking forward to returning.
Broken arrow
The course was nice, the greens were a little beat up. The big problem was the owners friends just show up and cut in where ever they want.
Course is great but GolfNow sucks
Since we could only use our GolfNow gift card on “hot deals” we couldn’t cancel our tee time because you can’t cancel hot deal tee times unless the course closes that day. It absolutely poured on us but there was no lightning so the course stayed open and we had to play through. This is yet another time GolfNow screwed us. Go to the Barstool Golf Tee Time app instead of this because they really don’t care about you or your money.
Nice find
Well maintained, very forgiving right off the tee…left? Houses! Sorry bout that!
Will recommend to friends, easy to get to for me from the South Loop (all highway). Only saw the cart gal once though.
Needs a Little TLC
Teed off before 6:30 AM and didn’t see a single groundskeeper the whole round. Maybe they cut the night before because the greens were in good shape but needed cleaning (goose poop, leaves, etc). Apparently rained there in the earlier AM but could not have rained much for the traps to be as poor as they are. Need truckloads of sand to fill the traps, all the traps I was in (several to be conservative) were wet packed down sand, no fluff anywhere and several had ditches from running water. Cart path on the north course could use some pothole repair. Still consider it to be a nice course despite these comments.
