Broken Arrow Golf Club - South/East
About
Broken Arrow Golf Club, located just southwest of Chicago's Loop, offers 27 holes of championship golf. There are three nines: East, North, and South that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The South/East Course begins with a links-style nine. The front of the course is accented by the landmarks of its former use as a farm. The original farmhouse and silo can be seen from the first teebox. Throughout the front nine, golfers will be faced with 22 bunkers, seven ponds, and multi-tiered greens. The golf course doesn't get any easier on East nine, which is arguably the most difficult of the three. The back nine features a slew of sloped fairways, hidden water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers. Course management is essential throughout the entire golf course.

Fun Layout So So Conditions
Really enjoyed the layout but the bunkers were unplayable on most holes and greens were a bit rough in places. Will play again as it's a good value with decent pace of play.
Nice Track, but slow and wet
Really nice track, 27 holes, well maintained and a fair price. Not sure if no ranger due to COVID, but pace of play was slow. I had to leave before we finished and the round ended up taking my buddy close to 5 hours. Also, the course was really wet and there had been no rain. Not sure why they overwatered it
Would not go back
Day did not start well when I find out that there was a $15 up charge per person on taking out separate carts in a 3 some. This is the only course that has done this all summer. So at 6 AM on a Tuesday 34 for golf - 13 for cart - 15 for an up charge to take out separate carts. Very excessive fee
The East & North course we’re in okay shape but the pins were on angles way too much. On 2 separate holes my partner had uphill putts that when they got to the hole rolled back past his feet. Really unfair for a course to have that. North course since the holes are no longer double flags - greens way too big. Makes for times that you have to chip from the green.
The course flags are still the American Flags so no way of knowing if the pins are up, middle or back. There was no starter to tell you what number the pins were on the card & the manager who checked us in was not very helpful at all.
Overall a really poor experience.
Always friendly and accommodating
Nice course always friendly and staff always try to be helpful
Thanks Matt
Good course
The course was in good condition. The greens were average speed but seems to be plagued with ball marks due to inconsiderate players
BRING A BUG NET!!
THE BUGS WERE OUTRAGEOUS! Paid for 18, only ended up playing 9 because of the bugs. And when I went to get my money back for only playing 9 the staff member Ryan rolled his eyes and said, “Well there’s nothing we can do about the bugs.” Ummm you can fumigate the course to help keep them down! The course was in good shape, but the experience with the bugs and staff made it very unpleasant and I will not be returning. He tried to offer me a rain check before he refunded me for the back 9 and I told him I don’t even want to come back. ALL THE GROUNDSKEEPERS HAD ON BUG NETS ON THEIR HEADS WHILE CUTTING THE GRASS. If you play here. Bring a gallon of bug spray and a bug net to wear!
Course layout is open with water on play almost every hole. Pin placement was very tough. When wind is blowing makes it very tough to get close. People need to fix divots on the green.
