Broken Arrow Golf Club - South/East
About
Broken Arrow Golf Club, located just southwest of Chicago's Loop, offers 27 holes of championship golf. There are three nines: East, North, and South that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The South/East Course begins with a links-style nine. The front of the course is accented by the landmarks of its former use as a farm. The original farmhouse and silo can be seen from the first teebox. Throughout the front nine, golfers will be faced with 22 bunkers, seven ponds, and multi-tiered greens. The golf course doesn't get any easier on East nine, which is arguably the most difficult of the three. The back nine features a slew of sloped fairways, hidden water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers. Course management is essential throughout the entire golf course.

Good
While there are 3 nines, I have requested playing the 2 original nines but have not been able to for a long time.
I would play there more often if they either improved the 3rd nine or allowed for the opportunity to request which nines could be played either at a specific time or day of the week.
Could be better…
Course was in decent shape, but our experience was tainted by a few annoying issues. First, the carts were filthy, all of them. They were also constantly swarmed by wasps all day long. We must have killed 15 of them throughout the day. Not sure if there was a hidden nest in the cart somewhere or what. Second, some guys decided to combine groups and there were two 8-somes and a 5 some on the course jamming everything up. The Marshall told us about it but never enforced any rules or threw the culprits off the course. So we waited on every single hole. Also the 10th tee was within slicing distance of the driving range and we were dodging balls while trying to tee off. Since we had to wait due to the back up we spend my
Way too long on the 10th tee box. Course seems well
Maintained but too many hacks out there that can’t keep it on their own fairway, and for Christ’s sake, why are there guys out there in t-shirts. Just seems too much like a park district course.
Broken Arrow
Very slow play today almost 5 hours no Marshall to move people along!
Great play
Pace was slow however what a great day and time we had
Fun for the money
Great golf venue and a really good hot deals bargain. Drove over an hour but we'll worth it.
Slow play
Group in front of us were more concerned on teaching golf than playing it. No ranger in site to keep groups moving. Don’t know if I would go back.
Needs a bit more work to be great again.
T Boxes and greens are all lush green and pretty well taken care of. The sand traps, however, need a lot of work. Cart paths need some new asphalt all of the course. They also need some water coolers, none on course. This summer is was 95 out and no coolers or cart girl.
LOVE THE COURSE, NICE LAYOUT, WIDE FAIRWAY, PRICE IS RIGHT, WOULD PLAY AGAIN
Never coming back
Pace of play is atrocious. Waiting 5-10 mins to hit every single shot
