No driving range!
Course needs updating. Badly. Needs a driving range as well as better carts.. Need more geounds crew. Ample trees leads to leaves all over fairways AND greens - VERY easy to lose balls hit into the fairway. I'll NEVER again play golf in the fall there. Course wasn't super busy and still couldnt check in and get cart until <30min b4 tee time.

Shaggy
The course has passed its prime. Overgrown rough results in lots of lost balls if you’re not in the fairway. Of course you find lots of other balls while searching so other golfers must have the same frustration. Layout is good and challenging, very long par 4’s. Greens were in decent shape. Overall, glad I played Big Run but won’t be running back soon.

Slow, slow, slow
Almost a 5:30 round of golf and they only positive I could say is that the weather was nice. Course conditions were fair - hadn’t been mowed in a while and fairways were like rough, rough was so overgrown that it took 10 mins to find balls thus the slow play. Looks like they are barely holding on and they didn’t offer any on course amenities, the half way house was fine, on course bathrooms were disgusting & that comes from my male playing partner and no ranger on the course so there were par fours with 4 groups on a hole. Won’t be going back anytime soon and neither should you!

Long course with challenging fairways. Old growth trees and foliage make this one of the most beautiful courses in town

Great but poor maintenance on greens
The course was great long like my woman likes me. Just too sandy. Had to have two towels on my bag to wipe off the ring of sand every put after 10 foot putts. Just annoying.

They maybe cut the rough (and fairway for that matter) once or twice a year.. that’s about all I have.

Needs maintenance
The grass is just waaayyy too long here. This is more of a gimmick course. Pace is terrible due to everyone always looking for their balls in the rough. The length on the fairway is about the length of the rough at any other normal golf course. Not sure if it is always this long but I've played here 3 times and it's always the same issue. Not a terrible course, just be prepared to look for your ball all day and play a slow round.

Rough is Rough
The grass along the fairways is way to high almost impossible to find your ball …..which I’m sure is the reason for slow play 3 of us played just over 5 hours with nobody in front or behind us…..alot of that time was spent searching for balls other than that the course is a great place to play
