Overall very challenging course lots of dog legs some 90 degrees would play again definitely Pace was good all day

Loe the place. Two different styles for each nine. Love the country course look and feel. An elevated tees box, and just enough sand, trees and water to keep a played honest. Super friendly staff. Nice little clubhouse with a cold beer and a dog for after the round. Traps could use a little work, with new sand instead of the bank run that is currently in them.

Great course! Staff was super friendly. The club house is really neat, good prices and service. This course is really cool, not a monster masterpiece but just a great place to play. I will be back.

The course is good and interest lay- out, conition is well,even winter season.

I played here for the first time on a Sunday at 10 AM. never had to wait. The pace of play was good and the course was fair. The greens were nice except for some inconsiderate golfers who played sometime before us. Too many scuff marks on the greens from dragging their feet. If you do that, then take the time to tamp down your mistake with your putter. Someome took their putter and slammed it down next to the cup on several holes! Other than that, I thought this was an interesting layout that was fun and fair.

Very nice course in good shape. Only complaint would be insufficient sand in some of the traps. Have had pace of play issues in the past here, but none this time around.

Fun Course good pace of play. It was after arreating so if you're reading this you know what I mean. Good experience. Would like to play it when the course was in top condition.

I reviewed earlier this year and said I would be back. I have been twice but am not sure if I will again.. I like everything about the course except the pace of play is unacceptable. I am not sure why and I hate to blame the course but I sure have had bad luck the last two tries. I know courses don't want to hear it ,but if you cannot play 18 holes in 31/2 hours, stay home.

This is a course with rangers more concerned about cart path only restrictions than the pace of play or conditions of the in play facilities. It had recently rained a lot, but the course was dried out well enough late in the afternoon to allow at least a 90 degree rule, yet that was not changed. No effort was expended to pump traps that were saturated and largely unplayable. The foursome in front of us was taking 20 minutes per hole and was slowing down play, yet was not warned even when complained about. At 75% off this course NIGHT be worth playing.

At $20 for 18 on a Sunday afternoon I was worried it would play slow and I was right on that for the front 9. There was a foursome two groups in front of us that was barely moving and no course ranger to move things along. Once we got on 10 the pace picked up but ended up almost at 5 hours. That said, the weather was awesome and the group I was paired with was friendly so I really had no qualms about the slow place. I just enjoyed the weather, the company, and the game.

This was the first time at this course and I found it to be a good challenge but playable. I was able to break 100 which I was happy with, I am usually worse in unfamiliar territoriy (I usually score in lower 90's on courses I am familiar with). For me, the front nine was more challenging than the back. There was a lot of hidden water on the front nine but not there on the back.

I will definitely go back.

Average on pace as we had to wait on most holes as did the groups ahead of and behind us but it was not overly long. Good on course condition - the playing surface but some holes were missing ball washers, some tee boxes were not labeled well and the cart paths could use some work. The staff was very friendly. The value for the money was excellent with the deal from golf now. Didn't eat any food and only had a few canned beverages, would have liked to see a beverage cart, though we were able to get a cooler with ice. A lot more water than I remembered - probably because I was in it a couple of times. Bottom line a good golf course at a great price and I would recommend.

Beautiful day and the course was in good condition. I was challenged by all the water, but it was beautiful and fun. Cart paths are rough.

Golfed a group of 4 on a Sunday at 10:30. Staff was great course was nice and well kept, only comaints I have is that there was a group of 6 behind us that wouldn't wait and kept teeing off when we were still in the fairways, and the club was not out driving around enough, we only saw it on the 8th and 16th hole.

Interesting design and layout. Like the sharp dogleg turns. Good green condition.

Old course converted from 9 to 18 holes years ago.Greens were good.Fairways are blue grass cut very short.Beware of rocks in the very large bunkers.Not a bad course for locals,but not a destination course.Some water in play but only one forced carry on a short par3.

This golf course is great. Great layout and pace of play was great. It took me 2 1/2 hours to play 18 holes. I will be returning to play more.

The course itself is in pretty good condition overall except that the dirt cart paths continue to deteriorate. Only a little brownout on the 17th fairway otherwise everything was pretty green. Always exceptionally friendly staff. Quiet and peaceful course.

The course was in great shape. Greens were true and the course was nicely maintained. The only complaint I have (outside of wishing it was closer to civilization) was the pace of play. There was no ranger on the weekend and the golfers in front of me lacked etiquette. There was a guy on the course with his girlfriend and they played 2 balls apiece on every single hole. The lay-out was very fun with multiple doglegs and hole set-ups that made you think about whether to just hit driver. I would ago again if near the area.

If you live in the far west or northwest suburbs this course is an easy drive away and a good value. The greens are very true and well conditioned, if not particularly quick. The layout includes a mix of doglegs that force some lay-up shots and require a little local knowledge despite well diagrammed hole layouts on the back of the score card. The cart paths are brutal so make sure to pay close attention so as not to wrench your back.
