Boone Creek Golf Club - Valley Course

Everything pretty good but the rough was a little too long for average player.

The course id in great shape and a fantastic value for the money.. One of my favorite local spots.

I will say this, I did not finish my round and left because of pace of Play. Consistently four groups on a hole, twosomes, threesomes and a foursome. There never is a marshall or anyone out there who can move groups along. With kids out of school for the summer the course is booked full. Kids are looking for their balls out of bounds without time restraints or consideration of other groups on the course.

Enjoyed the round thought the greens looked questionable but I was wrong in good shape !

The sand traps are not sand traps, but dirt traps. There is no sand in them and there is only about a quarter inch of loose dirt before you hit the hard pack dirt. Which has the potential to injure your hands and wrists when swinging through your shot attempt. They have sand on site because they use sand only for sanding the tee boxes and greens. Just not used to create sand traps that are consistent with golf conditions. I am very disappointed after speaking with staff on several occasions over the last couple of seasons. The conditions definitely add multiple strokes to your game that aren't scored when in typical sand trap conditions.

This is a fun course to play because they have 39 whole courses that they keep rearranging so you never get used to it… We played in the afternoon on Memorial Day and finish the round in four hours… Need I say more?
