Golfer Reviews
The course was in good shape and the pace of play was good.
Hidden Gem
Boone Creek is a great hidden gem for golf. The price for 18 holes with cart is a bargain for the quality of the greens and fairways. The natural grass driving range is very nice. There are 3 different 9 holes courses which is Valley, Prairie, and Creek Side. Depending on the day you play you could be playing a combination of the courses for your 18 hole round. The Bull valley area is very scenic. In my opinion the greens are a little slow but I'm a new golfer so just my experience to other courses I have played. The fairways are wide open with plenty of room. The staff is also very friendly and drink cart services are very good. This is my third time playing this course and definitely will be playing it again.
Watch out for cost
I purchased a rate on Golfnow that listed 'with cart'. At the course I was told I needed to pay for carts separately. What looked like a good rate turned into an expensive one.
I'd give this course 5 stars across the board except they did a control burn on the tall grass (awesome) but left 100s of burnt balls everywhere. Drove me nuts hunting them 😂😆
Boone Creek
I really enjoyed this course today. You can tell they take really good care of this course. During the week is best it's a lot less crowded.
Good course for the money. Not great not terrible. You get what you pay for
Good evening at the beginning of the year
Boone is always in great condition regardless of the time of year. First round of the year and even being in March it’s great. Grounds staff know their stuff.
Do It
Just golf here, it's golf and you like golf. you might lose a lot of balls because there is tall grass and weeds...alligators <- Kidding. So you may lose a ball or two. Just go and have fun.
