Great Northshore value
Mt Prospect is my favorite public venue. While the course may lack length it more than makes up for it with large challenging greens. Great place to play.

Difficult Greens-Good Challenge
Course is well maintained and to me, plays harder than its course rating. Most greens have multiple slopes and it's easy to 3 and even 4 putt if your speed is off and you are not in the right area. This is a good, challenging course. I am a 20 hdcp. Lower hdcps should enjoy the challenge.

Short 6300 yards, fun with a few tricks involved like traps, water and moguls.

Very Slow
Have never seen this before... there were two foursomes waiting to tee off on the -2nd- hole, when we finished the first hole. Someone said the 3rd hole was a potential driveable par 4, and groups would wait until the green was clear. Either way, it was an unbelievably slow -nearly 3 hours for 9 (we quit at the turn), slowest I have ever seen. Waited at every hole. Although maybe have just been a bad day, probably not going to risk playing it again.
