Poor course management
They sent players off the front and back starting at 6:30, creating massive backlogs on every tee. We had 3 groups waiting on every tee box on the back nine. After we finished, we inquired about why they send people off the front and back and they said “that’s what we do”. 9 holes shouldn’t take 3 hrs
Great condition
Course was in the best condition I have seen it in, in a long time
A good muni….interesting layout. Played black tees so you get a 175 yd, 210 & 225 over water par 3. Greens are slow & fuzzy, tee boxes are beat lots of ball marks on greens but that’s every muni this late in the season. Good food at the turn but no coolers allowed . 3rd or 4th time I’ve played this summer & I’ll get one more before end of summer.. 35 bucks with cart on How Now deal.
Not bad for a crowded course
We played on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty crowded. The holes are side by side and course layout is pretty tight . Many t boxes are next to mid fairway landing zones . Some holes had carts everywhere that slowed down the pace. Hole 15/16 had the entire fairway roped off , which was terrible if you played the right side . The left side is all houses , so not much choice . Goose
Poop littered the greens fairways .
Review
Not a bad course, had a couple that was holding us up. But other than that, not a bad course.
Understaffed
Course conditions left something to be desired. Halfway house was closed when we finished at 3:15 PM and bar was not open, just a limited selection of beer available from cooler in pro shop. Sign said beverage cart was on course but never saw. No drinking water on course - all the stations were empty. Bunkers short of sand, tee have many divots, and fairways have bare spots.
Pretty good
For the price, the course was pretty good. Fun layout and had a enjoyable round. The tee boxes were destroyed for the most part and it seems like they forgot to mow the rough, but it was overall, if you’re looking to get out and play, it works. The rangers could be a bit off—followed us and as my friend was grabbing a rake, started complaining that he wasn’t going to rake the bunker. Odd. Food offerings were great.

This hole sucks when you're using a cart I never had to walk that far before on one hole
Not worth the money
$80 on the weekends. That’s really all I need to say. I herd they did renovations over the off season. I certainly can’t tell where they put that money. The tee boxes are still in really rough shape on lost holes. I have no idea where they get off charging this much.
