I paid 44 dollars per person for this course to have some fake fairways I need a refund
Not as it used to be, in a bad way
This course has gone through many changes over the years. Not all are for the better. Take a tip from Mt. Prospect golf course, bent fairways and greens cut the way they should be.
A Little Bit of Everything
First time at OOCC. Very scenic course, tons of water, sand and trees. Tight and narrow course ask for straight drives and iron shots. Nice mix of par 5s, 4s and 3s. Challenging greens. A bit pricey, but a nice course overall. We'll be back.
Nice Sporty Course
Old Orchard is always in great condition. Love the Bent fairways. It's like hitting off a carpet. The course can be deceptively challenging. It has strategically placed bunkers and water hazards.
As remembered
The course needs more TLC in the way of greens cut closer and fairways. Including the tee's which are all spongey. Perhaps take a lesson from <MT. Prospect, Nice bent grass fairways and greens.
Fist time
Course was in good condition. Course has a nice layout and several of the holes are challenging. There’s plenty of water hazards and a few of the greens are small. My round was late in the morning and it was busy. The pace was on the slow side but it was still very enjoyable.
Good but rough is too rough...
Every season we play here at least once a month... good course but the rough is too rough!! Lol couldn't find rough landed ball(s)

Tee boxes need to be redone
The tee boxes need to be redone. They aren’t level and either different grasses and lengths or it feels as if the grass isn’t connected. Greens were well maintained and the sand was raked. The fairways were nice but the rough was long and they need to look into doing something about the geese
Below average Course
The tee boxes are overgrown and uneven most holes. The fairways are patchy and not short grass everywhere. The driving range is about 180yards long so you can’t really practice without fearing hitting people standing in 18 tee box or when they may be coming up 18. The starter was nice but forced us to tee off earlier than our time when we were trying to hit warm up putts and also was giving me unwanted tips on putting. The place is surrounded by mostly crappy APTs and street noise/cars. How they get off charging $85 per round here is beyond me.
Happy with the round
First time my buddy and I played the course and overall we both enjoyed it. The course was in great shape. The staff was friendly. The only reason it is not a 5/5 is because we were asked to get on the tee almost 10 minutes before our scheduled tee time without our consent.
Give the greens a few weeks
Staff was great. Good value. Food at turn was an improvement. The greens were pretty slow and bumpy. Probably come back in a few weeks. This place was in great shape otherwise.
