A good time at Palatine Hills!
I have played this course may times over the years and I can attest it is a great track. It appears the micro-aerated the greens fairly recently and that always impacts the greens. I also thought they were much slower than normal. Overall it's still a great track and the staff is ALWAYS exceptional!!

This is a course that you don’t want to play after it rains. Can get very muddy on the last few holes and be cart path only. It’s a scenic course and can be a challenge.

Home Course
Palatine Hills GC is about a mile from my house, and I've played here 25 times since the beginning of 2019. Nice layout, the course isn't boring and is fun to play time after time. Only issue is flooding on the last 4 holes whenever it rains 1.5 inches or more. Still, great value for the money, plus a 3 hole short game area and large putting green and decent sized driving range.

But For......
The course was in very good condition but usually have problems with excess water on holes 14 through 18. Most often they are "cart path only."
But overall, the course and team are usually very good.
The exception is the arrangement with GolfNow. GolfNow is difficult to deal with and I've found it almost impossible to adjust my reservations. Palatine GC should fix this relationship or end it.

Fun course with a great staff
Overall Palatine Hills is a solid municipal course that provides a challenging yet fair test of your golf game. The back nine is prone to flooding if there is heavy rain. Dan, Eric and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and make any visit a pleasant one. The golf association is a great way to meet new golfers and improve your game by playing in competitive games.

Great quality course
Walked 18 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Course has tight fairways. The rough was forgiving but could probably cause issues if they grow it out. Loved the greens. Rolled nicely.

A great public course
There’s been a lot of rain over the past few weeks but the course has absorbed it well. Fairways and greens are in fine condition, course layout has always been super, and the COVID-19 protection measures are sensible and effective.

Due to yesterday rain it was a little wet some spots. Overall very good condition. Want to come back and play when it is not wet.

Course was not in good shape at all. Hard to find grass in the fairways. Was better to be in the rough

Nice course. Nice rolling hills for a Chicago area course. Greens were in great shape. We played 18 in three and a half hours on Friday at 11:30 am.
The only drawback is the last three of the last four holes are in a flood plane and are very wet to unplayable if there has been significant rain.
Fortunately, it had been dry for several days prior to our round so we had no problems on the finishing holes.
Everything else about the course is well worth the money.

Course was in good shape. Greens were true. However. as humid as it was, there was not a cart girl to be seen.

Great course
Challenging, well placed hazards. Fairways are just tight enough. Great turf. A few wet areas and cart path only on one hole. Overall fun,challenging, well maintained course. Will play there again
