How to improve drainage
Front nine perfect back nine 15-16-18 pretty ugly I am handycaped and can't walk very well and when you have to play cart path golf it takes a toll on me!
Great Muni Track
Course was in great condition. The layout is excellent, from the tips you need some shot making ability. I think playing from any of the more forward tees, straight shots will keep you safe.
Round was a little slow, but not a death march. We could have played in 4 hours, but the 4 walkers ahead of us were over a hole behind the group in front of them (big $ game??)

Good Sunday afternoon
For a Sunday afternoon start, the pace of play was excellent. The course was in excellent condition and the greens ran at a reasonable speed.

Fun course
The course was in great shape for being real late in the golf season.Tough greens..To bad it's over priced in the summer. Or I would play this course more.

Beautiful, well-kept course, but fast, challenging greens
I played here for the first time last September, just after the greens were aerated. 6 weeks later, I decided to come back with a friend who is visiting from Seattle. The greens looked really good, but really challenging for my skill level. Fairways and rough are well groomed. We played for 41/2 hours, and I really liked the pace of play here. I will come back again next year as the golf season is almost over.

Nice course but overpriced.
The main problem I have with Palatine Hills (PH) is that it's overpriced. It's a nice course but there are comparable if not better courses in the area that you can play for a lower price.
I played this course because I got a nice hot time price on Golf Now. Little did I know that the greens were treated with sand. This was frustrating because I finally got a reasonable rate to play PH; however, the rate was reasonable because the greens were covered with sand. BIG disappointment and lesson learned.

Fun course to play. Usually finishes in just over 4 hours.

pace of play
4hours and 15 mins ,were we slow pace?(2men&2women) We felt Rush Rush during the first 9 holes...

Palatine Hills is a great course. Good variety of long and short holes. Course upkeep is good.

Staff Arrogance
The course was in great shape, shot the round of my life....73 I am a 9 hcp? Fun - but as always the staff and the management of this place is terrible. I made sure to tell my playing partners about a GolfNow incident and encouraged them to grad a beer and food somewhere else. We played and exited the facility they got enough of our money.
Good value for a muni
the layout is the strength of this course. Blue grass tees and fairways and the greens tend to be a bit on the longer side. One of a few courses where both beginners and advanced players will enjoy, You
Can spray some shots and find them though the recovery shot won't be easy, but you will find you ball. Big greens with undulations. Super friendly staff. Good value for the money and a very walkable course.
