Prairie Isle Golf Club

I'd go back for the challenging course with some nice level changes, but don't expect a good experience dealing with any one connected to the course.

I heard good things about the layout of the course with nice level changes and a more challenging design the more you miss being on the fairway. They were accurate; stay on the fairway its a pretty straight-forward course that you can par a lot of holes.

The course has kinda narrow fairways, Miss the fairway and there is a penalty you will pay. Course condition was fine. Greens were very reasonable and not that difficult to 2 putt. The cost was reasonable. What I was really disappointed were the people. The best description I can give is that the staff seemed indifferent to the golfers they didn't know. The didn't make eye contact and they tried to keep their interactions to a minimum. there was a league in front of us that were slow. Once clear of the league we came across of "regulars" who acted like they ran the course. I was in with 2 younger guys who were nice to chat with while we waited.

There are other courses around that are just as good and the staff has better attitudes toward customers.

remember why we are here. to play golf. The staff was fantastic, but even if they were pricks, who cares. course was in good shape, fun, scenic holes. Would definitely go back. just bare bones golf. Join a CC if you want someone to kiss your ss.

Good mix of holes some tight some open - in very good condition - only bad was many many unrepaired and poorly repaired divots on greens? For such a nice course it was surprising.

Good value for the money. The course was in good condition. The round was pretty slow. Kind of a bare bones operation. No starter and nobody on the course keeping things moving along.

I love prairie isle and this was probably my 5th time playing the course this summer but after yesterday it might have been the last! I’m not sure what the guys name that was in the front name is but he was horrible. This guy had an attitude the moment might uncle went in to check in while I grab our clubs. My uncle said something to me about it and when I went to check in same thing and good thing he caught me in a good mood because I would have laid it on him! I mean simple questions this guy responded like we were inconvenience him. Terrible and I’m sure we were not the only ones he acted like that towards.

Started on the back nine. 3 foursome groups and 1 threesome group in front. There were 3 foursome groups on one hole on the back nine and front nine every other hole. Very slow pace. 2 hours 20 minutes back nine. Then played the front nine, exactly the same. The beverage cart was there at every hole. No ranger monitoring the players pace. I give this day a 3 star dues to this problem.

Got harassed by the pro shop manager or golf pro at the turn. He accused my group of not paying for a full 18 holes when we did. Not a friendly person. Course was great good conditions just very poor customer service. Would recommend the course to anyone just hope you don’t run into him.

Some unique holes. Club selection off the tee is quite important!
