Fairways and greens in great shape
I am new to the north side and while I have many courses to play still, I was happy with Rob Roy. Overall, this was a nice pace with good course conditions at a very fair price. I will play here again.

Unfriendly course
Unfriendly staff, golfers, and just people overall. Unfortunately had a bad experience with the wife taking her out the first time on a course. The man working at the desk was rude out the gate with the first words being “TIME”. Not sure where he’s from but pretty sure people say hello or good afternoon in modern society. He made us wait 5 minutes to show up at the desk. I wanted to rent some clubs and the same man forgot that my wife was going to be the one paying and lending her card so he bangs on a window as I walk out and yells at me saying I need to pay. A random woman asking “what time are you” aggressively outside. Not to mention that the course is literally next to a busy road/senior subdivision of row homes the whole time. Everything felt rushed and unfriendly. Only good thing I can say is everything is well kept and clean. Also, a bunch of kids fishing around all the ponds and you have to warn them every time before you hit someone. Won’t be coming back unfortunately unless things get better.

Course conditions
The course is in fairly good shape. There are no rakes to smooth the sand and no ball cleaner containers at any of the tee boxes. They could also improve cleaning the sand traps of vegetation.

Rob Roy - Not impressed
First time at the course and the gentleman at the counter was sarcastic and rude. I’m sure he thought he was funny.
I tried to buy a Gatorade from the cooler next to him but he said I had to buy it at the bar. I went to the bar and the girl was slammed. She was working hard and very polite but backed up. I stood there for about 10 minutes while she made sandwiches and drinks. The guy from the counter walked in to get himself something to drink and I asked if he could ring me up for my gatorade. Again a sarcastic comment and a “sorry, she will get to you when she can.” Then he just walked away. Not impressed.

Course was in good condition--traps no so good nice day play was lil slow but clubhouse guy was nice and greens and fairways I good shape
