Deerfield Golf Club

Course was in good shape. Pace of play on Sunday was ok on front nine about 2 hours but close to 3 hours on back nine. We quit after 14th hole waiting on every shot not fun. Primary reason golf is not a growing game.

This is one of the best public golf courses on the north shore.

this is our go-to place and we love it here. the course is well maintained and has a good pace of play. greens are great! we look forward to playing here all of the time! :)

It was great! Unfortunately I was playing by myself and not one group had the proper etiquette to wave me through. Then when I approached the groups they looked st me like I was crazy for wanting to play through. I ended up stopping at 12 because there was to many groups to play through. So not the courses fault but the ignorance of some golfers.

1st time, enjoyed it, I'll be back. Good balanced challenge, playable but not too easy.

Fun course, posed a challenge for intermediate golfer such as myself. Played 3 times averaging mid-high 90's. Really enjoyed the layout. Got a great deal. Beer was cold :)

I played here over 30 years ago. It was a great course then and it still is. I highly recommend playing here.

Deerfield is a good test of your abilities. I used every club in my bag throughout the round which indicates to me a well laid out course that requires some creativity to navigate. Greens in excellent shape. Multiple tees allow for all skill levels to enjoy this course.

This was my first time play on this course. I played the gold tee. The layout is very good. The green is fast and bunker is great. (I saved all bunker shot!) I got hot deal from golfnow. I will play there again if I get a good deal.

Deerfield is one of the best public courses!

We had booked a tee time that wound up being about 5 groups after the course started letting out golfers after a morning of serious downpours that included having the edens expressway just about impassable for several hours. That said, the drainage was almost amazing as there was very little standing water anyway except in a few bunkers and the carts were not limited to the cart paths. The course played fast and we finished as a twosome behind a foursome in less than 4 hours. It turned out to be a great morning of golf.

Only problem was mix up in tee time

Played for this course for the first time, course was in good shape, greens were true, course layout was easy.

I still had fun and would play it again

Better than average park district course

The GN discount was fantastic. Course was in great shape and challenging. Thought the ranger was rude! Seemed to have an attitude. Pro shop and starter were friendly and efficient. Nice course!

We only played 15 holes. There were 4 groups when we arrived at the 16th. There were 3 groups at 13 and this occurred at least once on the front 9. We were at 4 hours when arriving at 16 and passed 2 groups at the turn. At 9 minute tee times that amounts to a loss of 1 hour and nearly a 6 hour round if we were to continue. Not one ranger all day. PATHETIC.

Course was in immaculate condition - the ranger said there was an amateur tournament coming up soon there, and it will a good test for them. Firm and quick greens, lots of run on fairways and greens. Tough but very fair. With a hot deal on golfnow a great value for the rate.
