Always enjoy playing here.
Staff excellent. Tee boxes awesome! Greens wonderful. Very enjoyable round.
Friendly staff
hard to find first hole
need to know the course due to blind shots on some holes
some holes harmed by uneven turf / ground that should be under repair
some bunkers had no sand/washed out
two-some in front of me practiced putting on the green several times as i waited to shoot.
Seems to be geared for regulars/members.
Cheap beer was nice. $3/ domestic
First Time
Liked the course and am looking forward to going back when the weather warms up.
Acorns
Course and pricing are always very good. You can not go wrong playing here when other courses are charging double. Good food and great beer prices. Just an excellent all around value and good course

Bonus golf in January
Acorns course was in great shape; we were not even restricted to cart paths.
Greens are in good shape, but a little bumpy. The fairways were in very good shape.
The staff at Acorns is very friendly and accommodating.
We will definitely play here again.

Acorns
Acorns is always a Best Buy around St Louis. Course has a good mix of challenging and fair holes making it enjoyable for novices to scratch golfers. Clubhouse staff is always accommodating with great prices on beer and Brats
Decent, if you live in the area
Course conditioning and greens were fine. The layout is a bit quirky. There are too many short doglegs where the golfer has to hit a mid or long (maybe) iron off the tee just to keep the ball in play. People were friendly and some of the holes were solid. I just would not call this a memorable layout or one that I would drive 40 miles to play.
Course is in great shape. You won't be disappointed. .
Simply the DREAM!!!
I must admit, with tha politics of life in America, and being of African American decent, I was a bit reluctant to even travel so far from home WITHOUT my firearms...It turned out that Waterloo, Acorns Links was so calm and a GREAT place to golf...Staff was Courteous and respectful to ALL it's patrons, to include me. i am so pleased that the whole negative political arena does not reach our dedicated golfers.
We must continue to reach All AMERICANS and Acorn Links has set a FINE example of patriotism towards AMERICA!

The course was in excellent condition
The course was in the best condition of any course I have played this year.
Course in great shape
Given the streak of recent hot weather, the course was in excellent shape. Too bad some golfers are so oblivious to their ball marks and don't/won't take the time to repair their greens' divots. These really mar the otherwise beautifully maintained greens.

The course was in great shape and the greens were excellent.
Had a great time
Challenging, but not overly so. It was a lovely day of golf, on a lovely golf course. Staff was very nice to deal with. Course was in great shape considering lack of recent rain. Some rowdiness on course, but there was a scramble behind us, and they weren't too distracting. I will play it again as soon as I can.
