About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton offers 27 holes of championship golf. The entire course features water on 17 holes and 77 strategically placed bunkers. The course is divided into three nine-hole courses that can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The club opened in 1927 but two of the golf courses, South and East, were renovated in 2011, followed by the West nine a year after. The golf courses are all equally challenging but they each have a unique character. The West/East Course starts with the shortest nine but it also has one of the most intimidating water holes, the par-3 seventh, which has a green that is almost entirely surrounded by water. With such a challenging variety of courses, it is not hard to imagine why Arrowhead G.C. is considered one of the best municipal golf courses in the Chicago area.

Great course and staff. Highly recommend. Fast, but consistent greens
Beautiful course
Was able to get it on a hot deal, otherwise kind of expensive for a park district course. Course(s) were in great shape, well watered with the drought we’re in. Group in front of us had a walker they allowed us to play through and we were able to finish 18 in about 3 1/2 hours. Gear sand traps.

Excellent course, well maintained, great layout, good hazards of water and bunkers placements. Enjoyable scenery with trees and forest preserve along the sides.

Great course, great condition
This course is very well maintained & the staff is very friendly. Some challenging holes with a few that are easier so most levels can enjoy it.
Great course and conditions.
Friendly staff and rangers. Great layout. Great conditions. Good bar and food options. Cart girls often around. Amazing GPS monitors with big screens and fly over videos of each hole. Only negative would be lacking a grass range, but that might have been only that day due to rain.

Fast greens
Only played 9 holes on the West Golf Course and it was in great condition especially the greens. Will be back to play it again!!!
End of season
Course as always was in great shape. Even though greens were being aerated they were lightening fast. Always a pleasure, especially given it was 11/10
