Excellent value, fun outing
The off season rates make this course an even better bargain. The course is in very nice shape. Fallen leaves beneath the trees make it difficult to find your ball, but the fairways were recently cut so that problem remains confined to the areas with bushes and under trees. Greens were in very nice shape, though the geese work hard to change that. The off-season rates make this course an even better value than usual. It is a fun course, but especially excellent for beginners or higher handicappers.

Nice enough
I get out to Salt Creek with some high-handicap friends once or twice a year. The Blue course is plenty challenging for them and still entertaining for me. Today, the tee boxes were a mess -- uneven, mostly dirt from all the divots. But the fairways and greens were OK. Nice enough for the price. Just do not expect to get around the course quickly -- the high-handicap crowd keeps things moving at a relaxed pace (around 2 hours for 9 holes).

Fine Shorter Course
Never too crowded. Great staff and restaurant. Holes are shorter than standard course. Good for less experienced golfers. Good layout.

Great value!
$32 for 18 with a cart is an excellent deal! Course is relatively short and the layout is a little awkward but my group had a great round. For being a busy holiday the pace of play wasn't terrible but could've been better.

Acct Credit Due
Course was closed for lightening. Assume I am due an acct credit. Can u confirm.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced from the weather. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.

Poor Conditions-Beginners Course
This place is a par3 course. If you’re new to the game not a bad place to start. If you’re expecting nice to decent tee boxes and fairways then steer away. For the money you pay to play for torn up tee boxes and below average fairways, not worth it at all.(goat farm) You can go play Schaumburg Golf Club and pay the same amount of money for 9 holes. Which is the best course in the area. Not sure how other reviews can give 5 stars. Rating of 2 stars. Will not return.
