Beginners course
Was very sloooooowwww pace. Lots of beginners. All beginners deserve to golf of course and they paid just like anyone else. It was just painfully slow. Otherwise the course was in great shape. Its definitely a feel good about your game course with lots of short holes.
Course was mehhh
Course was wonky not sure if there re doing the course of what but it was kinda hard to navigate and my 18 birdies app did not work at all on this course and I use it all the time so not sure what was going on but green distances were way off and different
Not playing again
The only real bright spot at this course is the attached driving range—which honestly feels more like a Topgolf experience than your typical warm-up spot. It’s well set up, fun, and probably the best part of the whole facility.
Unfortunately, once you get past the range, things go downhill. The pace of play was painfully slow during my round, and while the ranger made laps around the course, there was zero enforcement happening. Groups stacked up and no one seemed to care.
Course conditions left a lot to be desired. The fairways and greens were rock-hard, making it tough to get any kind of spin or proper roll. Not to mention, the golf cart I was given was sticky—like, noticeably grimy to the touch.
To be fair, one issue wasn’t the course’s fault: several groups were loud, shouting across fairways and being generally obnoxious. It’s the kind of thing you sadly come to expect at a bargain course, where etiquette sometimes takes a backseat.
Overall, if you’re just looking to hit balls at a solid driving range, this place is worth a visit. But if you’re expecting a decent round of golf, you’ll probably leave more frustrated than fulfilled.
Horrible Course
I would ONLY recommend playing this course if you are brand new to golf. You will see 0 etiquette, and teenagers running the course that are friendly but don’t know what they are doing. Scheduling tee times that run right up to and interfered with a league is something I’ve never seen on a golf course. I left after shooting 9 because I didn’t want to spend 5 hours there, would never go back.
Fun but disorganized
Played this with two friends. We got stuck behind a golf league after the marshal sent another 4 sum out during our Teetime. The group infront of us played a 6 sum the entire time abd we saw a few groups of 8 playing all together. We waited 10-15 minutes on every hole. This was an executive course and should not have taken more then 3-3:30 hours to play. I think we finished in 4hours and 45 minutes which was incredibly frustrating.
The course itself was super straight and greens were flat. Enjoyable for people just getting into golf but did not provide much of a challenge.
Humbling
I didn’t know what to expect , but what I soon realized is that my short game needed work. This course made me concentrate on shot selections . As a novice golfer I enjoyed this course very much and will be returning.. The narrow fairways were challenging . Their staff were friendly and helpful.
Watch out for the land mines
The course was generally in good shape. The greens around the water hole were littered with goose droppings. The did not look like they were maintained for a while. The geese were not a problem otherwise; they just move and let us play through. If they keep the greens cleaner, I would have given them 5 Stars.
Good Course
Good course for the money. Also good course for for practicing your shot game.
Nice
Only issue I have is too expensive for Seniors. There is NO senior rate. And When you play 18, you have to wait for newcomers who are starting on Blue.
Staff Rude, unfriendly to Golf Now
Just to reiterate the previous review, after booking with Golf Now as I have for 2 years at Salt Creek, staff stated they had No Information about my reservation and would not honor the prepaid greens fees unless I could “prove it to them that I had already paid”. I handed the employee my e-mail receipt and the employee claimed it did not “prove I had paid”. He pretended as if he was unable to scroll a phone message and I had to scroll the receipt further to show him “no balance due”. As you can imagine, this disrespect angered me and we almost came to blows in the clubhouse.
