Jim Peligrino
Jim was very friendly and extremely helpful with our cart.
Signage
Put up signs directing people from hole #1 to hole #2 and so on. I was frustrated and will not go back to that course
No starter the day I played (a Saturday) and there was confusion over which course (blue or white) that groups were playing.
Also, there was a group of 12 people that were all playing together, drastically affecting pace of play.
I suppose you can’t ask much for $30, but even at that price, there are some basics one would expect.
Probably so t be playing this course again.
Salt Creek
Fun course, but if you're looking for distance, this is not for you.. all par 3's and 4's. its great for working on short and mid range game! I would play it again.
Good Course
Good Course for the money and good for short game.
Salt Creek GC
Sporty course, friendly staff, consistent course improvements are ongoing.
Great for beginners. Terrible for serious golfers.
Played on Labor Day. For the good, price and staff were on point and what you should expect for this course. For the bad, way too many beginner hacks which means they have no clue what they are doing. Layout is terrible with no signage to the next hole and the tee box/greens are too close together. With beginner players spraying the ball over the place, not surprised someone didn’t get dinged on the head from an errant tee shot.
A great place to play 9 holes
The convenience of the location and amenities for a 9 hole course were more than I expected. The person behind the desk was polite and efficient. The starter got a card and pencil while I waiting for my husband. The course was interesting and manicured. There was really nothing lacking and the price for two and a cart was more than fair. Can’t wait to return.
Good course
Salt Creek is a good course for beginners and players who want to work on their irons. Tees were pretty chewed up but it is the end of the season. The greens were the best I have seen there. They definitely need to do some tree trimming. Branches covering some of the tee boxes. Course is very tight, accurate shots are a must. Overall a good course just to play some golf. Will play again.
Thank you for your feedback, Dennis. We're glad you enjoyed the greens and found the course suitable for practice; we'll address the tree trimming and tee conditions to enhance your experience next time.
