Bear Slide Golf Club

Greens rolling exceptionally smooth...anything that started on line stayed true. Bear Slide has great character to it: no hole looks the same. Golfer must be prepared for many blind approaches to greens.

Course was in real good shape. We had prompt service and the practice facility is always well groomed.

This course is beautiful and in great condition. It's a great amount of difficultly but can be played well. I think there should be GPS on the carts for this course.

Honestly, I don't know how this course isn't a PGA course. It's THAT nice. It is very challenging, has tons of different hazards and obstacles to keep you on your toes, and honestly it's just flat out awesome to be out there. Unless you find a Hot Deal, it is a little pricey, but trust me, it's worth it. If you're in the central Indiana area, this is a course you've gotta play!!!

Bear Slide has always been one of my favorite courses in the Indy area. It's a bit of a drive from Indy but that is one of my favorite things about it- it's in the middle of nowhere, there aren't houses on the course, and it's not usually very busy. The most common complaint I hear about this course is the stark contrast between the front and the back 9. The front is links style and being a long driver is rewarding. The back is almost all precision shots and placement is key. You have to hit GIRs out here to score well as many greens are raised and narrow. Up and downs are tough. Course was in good shape and I recommend this course to anyone within an hours drive.

Got to play my favorite central Indiana course early this spring and it was in great condition for April 12th. Pace of play was slow, but that is to be expected as a 2-some behind a few 4-somes and early in the season. Highly recommend playing the course this year.

I love the layout of the course and its usually in pretty good shape, however, this is the third time in a row where my round took well over 5 hours.

I really enjoyed the course, played early in the season and course was in good shape, would assume as it gets farther in spring it will become in great shape. Tees boxes were together with white/blue in same location every hole so it was hard to determine exactly what you were playing as some were white location and other were blue. Very fun layout and greens were in good shape. Will play again.

Bear Slide is a fun challenge. the front 9 are links style and the back is prairie style. the ball must be kept in play as there is unplayable rough lurking on every hole. it is a real challenge and probably too difficult for some players to score their hcp but for any level it is a beautiful place to play. highly recommend this off the beaten path course. one of the best in indy area.

Super day in October course was in tremendous shape greens rolling amazing and fast

Bear Slide is known for fast greens and always being in tournament condition. Today was no different. Greens putted quick and true. And, the sand traps were raked up to the collar. The kind of sand traps you see on TV that the pros play from. Great links layout with some water hazards and mild elevation.

Very challenging for the novice and average golfer.

BearSlide is always a great course to play. Great conditions great variety of holes. It can be really challenging. The wind was blowing and recent rain made it very rough. I love playing her. .. just never score well.

This course is one of the best I have played. It is a beautiful and challenging layout. I highly recommend that you play this course.

Hard to find but worth it when you do. Price is reasonable for the quality of the course.

It is cost a little. But it is challenging and always tough to play.

Played here 7-8 times but this was the best condition the course has been in since it was new. Pristene is a good word for it. Since I played well, I loved the course and round., although intitutional knowledge is important for a good round. 12th hole may be one of my favorite. 1th may be my least favorite.

I always have a great time playing Bear Slide. Great course, and maintained well. Only issue with the course is letting a six some play in front of my two-some on a sunday. Very frustrating when that backs up the whole course.

Played from back tees. Have some room off the tee but must hit good long iron shots. Greens rolled well but speed seemed to vary hole to hole. Most greens seemed to be quicker then the putting green.

Great layout and course is kept in great shape. Would recommend playing this course
