Almost perfect
The course was again in excellent condition. Although there were a few sand traps that I'd rate at about 8 out of ten. The only real problem was a foursome in front of us that were extremely slow. They didn't have the curtesy to invite us to play thru. So we went around them and only played 17 holes. That was obviously not the fault of the course.
Hidden gem
Never disappoints. Do yourself a favor and drive another 10 minutes to play this track.

Honest opinion.
Made a two hour drive to play the course. Was told it was one of the nicest in Indiana. The course was decent but not worth the drive. The fairways were the saving grace. Very plush and well maintained.. Greens were shaggy but playable. Staff was friendly. With all the hype I had heard I expected the course to feel more luxurious. Not the courses fault.
Wet 90 degrees front, path on back
As always staff friendliness is unequal
Down side 10 was a bad temp green
Greens good for this time of year on other 17 holes
All greens rolled at same speed
Fairways good ,rough was light
Sand traps have some ways to go
Some tee box’s closed
Overall trip from Indy worth the drive as usual
Course has character, friendly staff
Second time out to Royal Highlands. Nice layout with good elevation changes. Great value and worth the ride out from the Indianapolis area.
