Beechwood is back!
Last several years beechwood has dropped off a bit but played it again and it’s back to its original solid value. Traps were a little inconsistent but greens were top notch.

A Superb Value
Possibly the best golf value within 100 miles of Northwest Indiana. Greens are fantastic, fairways nice, and rough/general is plush. A fantastic layout as well. Will be back!

Beautiful Beechwood
Had a great time playing Beechwood again. It's always a challenge. Greens quick and fairways excellent. Rough is thick right now but tough to mow with all the rain we've had. A great day with my 88 year old Dad. He still shot 103.

This course is well maintained
Greens about a 10 on the stent meter rough around 4 inches a bit high but overall a very enjoyable course very challenging with strong winds. For the price you cannot beat it. With high gas prices I will definitely be playing this golf course because all other courses are well over $50 per person. Great friendly staff and prices very reasonable for food, drinks and candy bars.
This course is the most reasonable in all its prices in Northwest Indiana.

Old classic
Old Traditional course a bit overgrown but great layout from 1931. Greens in great shape. Course undergoing improvements too. Will be better in future!!

Beautiful Municipal Course
Saw this course listed and had time on my hands. I am a return to golf guy last playing regularly 15 years ago or so. New clubs that I'm still learning. Play three or 4 times a month now.
Course was wet from the rain we have been getting but it was still very playable. I don't hit long but relatively straight. #1 is tight off the T fairways open a bit after that. Hit it relatively straight and you can score. Had four bunker shots and sand was sand not dirt. Came out of them as expected. Greens were 8 out of 10 and had swells/ undulations, pins were challenging. The ball rolls well.
Course is excellent and staff was awesome.
