Best muni in NW Indiana
Great course with lots of fun holes to play. Greens were very quick and rollled true. This course hosted the Laporte city tournament so it had quite a few rounds over the past couple of weeks, the fairways had many shots played and my only complain to voice is our cart did not have any sand to fill the divots.
The only other suggestion would be to get rid of the pool noodles into the cups. Instead consider installing the cups inside down ( I know it sounds a bit odd but I have played a few other courses which have done this and it’s a better solution to not touching the flagstick.

Too much clover and crab grass for my liking, but course is well designed.
May play again if turf is better.

First time playing the course. Ended up playing with a threesome. 2 of which were members and more than kind enough to help me with the course layout. Sprinkled the entire front nine but the course still played great. It's a tight course but still playable for a high handicapper such as myself. Beautiful course would definitely recommend and will be stopping again next time I'm in the area

Good all around course
Not real open, have to keep the ball straight to stay out of trouble, greens are in good shape, alittle wet sometimes, but overall good value.

Beechwood - Best Course in La Porte, IN
Played Beechwood today in extreme humidity and heat. 90 degrees with few breezes. Course in fantastic shape. Fairways great, rough plush and demanding, greens fast but true. Always a great time at Beechwood. Kyle and the rest take great care in welcoming you to the course and glad to have you playing. If you can play Beechwood well, you can play any course well. Every club in the bag is used in playing it. Please include this in your travels folks.

Great value
The greens were fast and rolled well. Overall course in good shape. Just a couple tee boxes showing wear, Is tree lined and narrow in spots, but always fun to play. Great staff
My cart quit running on the course and they had it replaced under 5 minutes!
