Golfer Reviews
Fun day
Greens, Tee boxes and fairways in good shape. Pace of play was at 4 hours. Overall a great course, challenging yet fair.
Top Tier
Very nice place, really enjoyed my round. Greens roll true and quick, fairways are narrow and well manicured. Layout was super fun and really makes you play smart golf. I can't compare to other courses in the area as an out of town-er for a quick 18 on a work trip, but this ranks among some of the best public courses I've ever played.
Great course must play
Love this course.
Today
Green was very very slow, diapointed for the first time.
Wonder what happened.
Should cut & roll on weekends.
Nice and challenging course
First time playing as I’m from out of town. Everyone was very nice. Nice practice area. Nice course overall. Greens were nice and fast. Tough course and can lose many balls if not hitting it straight. It’s more target golf and has lots of trees and thick grass brush around so hard to find wayward shots. Tee boxes were but uneven and just wish there was gps on the carts. Overall had a great time and would play again when in the area.
Tactician’s Paradise
Old man/tactician’s paradise of a golf course. The pros are that it’s a very well maintained course, set in a beautiful neighborhood, and it has a friendly staff. My biggest gripe was the course design; it seems to ask one specific question of the golfer repeatedly - and usually that question involves leaving the driver in the bag, hitting fairways and greens with irons, and 2 putting for your par. Sometimes the design seemingly punished good shots.
Pace of play and bunkers are awful
Bunkers may as well be concrete. They have started to remove some of the fairway bunkers I’m assuming for this reason. They attempt to “rake” them (very pretty circles) but it’s a thin layer of not even sand, mostly rocks. Do yourself a favor and just take a drop.
Card states 4.5 hours to complete a round, way too long to begin with. You should plan on 5+ minimum. Pace of play is always an issue out here.
Good course.
Good shape. Nice greens. Great staff.
Slow pace. Never saw a ranger.
Aberdeen in the spring
Course was in good shape but fairways were wet so there was cart path only. Greens were fast and in real good condition.
Great Course
Aberdeen is great course. Very well kept and full of challenging holes. Very affordable for the quality of the course and I definitely recommend anyone in the area who loves golf to stop there and get a round in. You won’t be disappointed.
