Tee boxes.
Many of the tee boxes were chewed up and many have a slope or ‘hump’’ to them. This course use to be one you get up for, now it’s still good but not what it once was. The pace of play was atrocious and never saw a ranger to get things moving.
The greens and fairways were excellent and will continue to play there.

Country Club feel for Muni price
Aberdeen is a real value. Great practice facilities, wonderful club house, friendly staff. Course is nice.

Hidden Gem
Very nice golf course. A little bit of a drive from Chicago but well worth it. Sand in the bunker can be improved other than that course is in great shape.

loved the course layout. visually very appealing with rolling hills and wood lined fairways. A fair, old style golf course. Bunkers are dirt and rocks - not good! if this were addressed I'd give it 5 stars

Great Layout
This course is showing some if it's age, fraying around the edges a bit, but the layout through trees and rolling hills more than makes up for a few inconsistencies. The biggest problem would be bunker maintenance. I guess they just thought to not put sand in them and went to dirt. The problem is most are riddled with stones that can damage clubs.
