Closed Range & Hole Locations
W were told the driving range was closed at 9am on a Friday in May bc “they’re mowing”…. Nobody was mowing the dead pasture grass that makes up the range. So no pre round swings.
Course in great condition but the hole locations were consistent with Sunday of the US Open. Pins on majority of holes placed on severe slopes. This made the greens overly difficult for a muni in the middle of BFE Kansas. C’mon Cherry Oaks, you have a good course…Do better
a tale of two cities (nines)
course was great, greens were impressive and well cared for. front nine is excellent and the dog legs in a park style course is so fun. back nine is vanilla comparatively, but still nice shape. i’d definitely play it again!
Great Little Spot
Nice course, good layout. The greens rolled well but some of the holes were cut on less than fair spots. Good shots should be rewarded! Overall the course was fun and great to play. Would come back if I was in the area again.
Great Course
This is one of the best courses around. Grounds are always kept in great condition, has a good layout with challenges but not too challenging, and staff is always friendly. This the perfect course for fun day out and a reasonable price.
Greens ☺️ rolling out great
Course is in great shape staff was friendly and a foursome let me go through without even asking. I was a single player and had a great time . This is the 3nd time playing this course as I am from Houston, TX and only visiting. Every time I come on and get a chance to play this is now going to be my go to course, I absolutely love this course.
Nice course and well kept even in the heat of summer. The course has some fun shorter par 4s with sharp dog legs that force you to think about different club selections. Club house wasn’t much but overall nice course.
Overall great
Tried buying beer at the turn. No employees around the clubhouse or in it. Everything else was great.
