Great local course. Has been getting better every year since the new owners took over. Only place around me with a range. Staff is always great!
Poor Course Maintenance
This course has gone back downhill. There are weeds everywhere, tee boxes and unkept, weedy, and hard to find a spot to tee up and stand on decent ground. The greens have multiple dead spots on them and are bumpy, making smooth putts impossible. Many of the fairways are strips of dirt that are rock hard. The price increase makes this course not worth the cost.

Wish they had kept the back nine it was an awesome challenge but great life will be great life.
Golf course
Enjoyed my round. Course in rough shape. They are working on it.
It's a mess
Looks like they're doing some work to this course. However, it was in pretty poor shape. Temp tee boxes, tilled fairways and uncut greens.
As it's a lower end course there are a number of people that don't understand Golf etiquette. Probably won't be back for quite some time

Tee boxes destroyed. Fairways destroyed. Cart path destroyed. Range destroyed. Range balls all over the course. Dirty gas carts. Dirty gravel parking lot. Only 9 holes. Must play twice so pace of play is bad. Zero dress code or rules enforcement. You could probably ride horseback on this course and they wouldn't mind. That said, nice people and casual environment. Great for fishing and hunting, but not good for golf.
Great layout.
Had a great time. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Very challenging.

The course needs grass... more mud than any other course I have played.

Played the Gardner Golf Course today and really enjoyed the course layout and the staff was super friendly. For the money one of the better courses in JoCo.
