Nice Course, has better potential
I played this course a couple months back and the fairways were much better. The greens were good; although, there remained numerous ball marks not repaired. This is obviously no fault of the staff, but no one in the club house ever reminds me to repair ball marks which might help. The sand traps are still unplayable. There may have been sand in some, but several were nothing but hard pan. Still like the course and will return, but I hope the continue to improve things.
A little disappointed
I have played this course before and the course conditions were much better. The fairways were very long and had clumps here and there that were well past the mowing stage. The sand traps were wet, but regardless were not well kept. I only hope they have kept the Big Blue course in better shape. If it is in as bad a shape it would be an embarrassment for the University of Kentucky to call it their home course.
Conditions
Ridiculous for such a nice course there is absolutely no sand in the bunkers on Wildcat. Crazy. 0 Get some freaking white sand in the bunkers!!
Always a pleasure
I love both Wildcat and Big Blue. Solid layouts, good conditions, fun to play.
Sweet deal
We decided to drop out of the bunkers on hole one (very bad) but other than some bad cart paths the track was really nice and a great value at $27.00. Fairways, tee boxes and greens were perfect!!!
Great Course
This is a beautiful course. We are here from Fl and was able to get a round in. Stay in the fairway though!
Will be back & often
First time we'd played at the University Club - Wildcat Course. I can't say enough how much i enjoyed playing there. Course was in outstanding shape even with the rain we have had. Tee's, Fairways & Greens were great, rough was manageable and the layout is set up for any level of golfer. Can't wait to get back and try the Big Blue course. If you are in the area or just passing through, play these courses. You will not be disappointed.
Great Round
I’ve played 6 or 7 different courses this year, and none have come close to being in as good shape as the wildcat course. Got a weekday round finished in 3 hrs and putts roll true. I’ll be back several times this year.

Great course!
Course was great. My foursome played the wildcat course and can’t wait to try big blue. Drainage on the course was great as it had rained a ton the days prior to us playing and didn’t affect the round at all. Greens were some of the best I have played on. I have a hard time paying $40 for a round but this place was excellent. Will be back soon!
Almost a 5
Excellent course just a few tweaks necessary...please update the course layout thru the GPS systems (the new front 9 is 10-18 of the old layout and then 3-9 and 1,2 is the back 9)...playing as part of a 2some we were greatly slowed down throughout the round...the good news is i had time to clean all of my clubs waiting to play...a few course marshals could have addressed this...overall great course and a great value for the area.

A VERY ENJOYABLE DAY OF GOLF, COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE. I BOOKED THROUGH GOLF NOW AND THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND I WOULD PAY A FEW DOLLARS MORE TO PLAY HERE. BETTER THAN PAYING LESS FOR A COURSE THAT IS IN LOT WORSE CONDITION.
Greens were dissapointing
Greens were extremely slow and surprisingly hard. Not a good combination. The speed of play was excruciating, took almost 5 hours for 2 of us to finish. Decent layout, very deep roughs. Bring your "A" game and hope for great players ahead of you. Ball finding will slow you down.
One of the best courses in Kentucky
I have played Wildcat many times. It is always challenging and in great shape. Thank you UK Club!
Wildcat reciew
I have played this course several times before and am a fan of the course itself. My only complaint would be the cart paths. This has been a problem for a couple years but it hasn't been addressed yet. I have told staff at the course this same sentiment before. It's not enough to keep me from playing there of course, but it is irritating that most of the Wildcat Course has rough, bumpy cart paths and even some good size pot holes.
Maint. Needed
Great layout very good fairways and tees. Greens inconsistent and bumpy. Sand non existent very hard and could see drainage pipes
They should be converted to grass if they can't be maintained properly.
