Great Inexpensive Track
Played this course 30 years ago and to be honest I think it's much better now. Nice putting green and irons only range. Staff was friendly. Fairways and Greens are pretty well kept and the rough is ok but for the value is well worth it. Will absolutely return for more rounds and look forward to the next round.
Good Shape and a good time
This is not a country club, it does not have a fancy pro shop or clubhouse, but the course was a in great shape and we had a good time trying out a new place. Greens, Fairways, Tees, were all in very good shape. Greens were running much slower than other courses around but given our stretch of scorching heat and no rain I was pleased to see they were not burned out. This course is tougher than it looks especially if you miss a fairway!! Pretty flat overall which is unusual for our area, but you must be able to put the ball in play off the tee. Lot's of tree trouble will eat up your strokes quickly. While it is not my favorite course near me I must honestly say it was fun, challenging, in great shape, and staff was very friendly. I'll come back and play again when I can straighten out my tee ball!
If you think this is the old Cabin Brook course you would be wrong.
This course has defined fairways and boxes. The greens have fringe and roll smooth. There is still heather but a lot of heather has been removed. They work the course all the time it is always in great condition. The speed of play is good I just played the 4th of July in 3 hrs. 15 minutes. T-time was 9:10. They take precautions on Covid-19 with pool noodles in the cup, The cart are cleaned after being used. The amenities are basic candy, water and drinks due to Covid-19. The staff is friendly and courteous. If you’re looking for a new course check them out. The closest I’ve ever came to a hole in one was here too.

Great Round
Played a round with a good friend. Pleasant greeting by staff. The course was in excellent condition and steady play allowed for a most enjoyable game. Very reasonable rates make this course a gem!

Good greens and fairways. Played at 12:40pm on a Thursday. Was not very busy or crowded. Would recommend.

Course has come a long way. Some greens still have some bad spots on them but nothing overbearing and they’re working hard on getting them where they need to be. Definitely recommend the course.

The course is in excellent condition, especially when compared to the days it was called Cabinbrook. Staff was friendly, fairways were full, greens rolled true and sand traps had actual sand.

Amazing condition & friendly staff!!!
For someone who ho grew up playing this course 20 years ago the course is in amazing shape! The grounds crew have clearly revived this course. Gone are the poor conditions from Cabin Brook/The Brook. The course is fun yet offers its challenges as well as opportunities to score. The clubhouse staff are always friendly and accommodating. Keep up the great work!
Best Value in Cemtral Kentucky
For my money, Woodford Lakes is the best value in Central Kentucky. The course lay out is one of my favorites. With fun short par 4s on both sides, challenging par 3s and par 5s that will test you.
The course offers the best players a true challenge at 7000 yards. For the rest of us a true challenge from one up tees at 6300 yards. My favorite stretch of the course is right after the turn. Holes 10, 11, and 12 give you a bit of all challenges and an opportunity to put a birdie on your scorecard.
The staff at Woodford Lakes is friendly and knowledgeable. They have taken extra precautions throughout Covid crisis to remain open and keep golfers safe.
I highly recommend this fun and challenging course located in the heart of Central Kentucky.
Horrible
Worst course in area, hard as a rock and it has rained a lot, furry greens, no break, very slow play, letting people tee off back nine when our group was making turn. We will not return to this course ever, nor will any one I know. Big time Waste of money and time.

Great shape
Hidden gem in central Ky...great layout, in excellent condition, staff is top notch...The pro Derek and assistant pro Sean do a great job of managing a busy course. If you've never played here, put it on your list of places to play
Can’t beat it
Course is in great shape and hard to complain with a price like such for 18. Would recommend this to anyone.
Course with great Par 3s
This is first time playing this course but thought the layout was fun and the Par 3s were great. Varied distances and greens made each one unique—no plain green 150yds away. We played on a Sunday AM at 9 and our foursome was able to finish in less than 4 hours, which is next to unheard of in our area. Will definitely be back to play.
