A Great comeback Story. Must play
Woodford Lakes has been a great comeback story over the last 3 years. Once haphazardly takes care of, new management/ownership came in and completely resurrected the course into amazing shape..by far in much better shape than any other course around.
The staff is professional and friendly as well. If you’ve not played since it was the old “Cabin Brook” then you are missing out.
Awesome golf course
The course hosted my annual golf event. The course was in great condition. The staff were accommodating and bent over backwards to make sure the event was successful. Overall an excellent experience as usual at Woodford Lakes. Couldn’t recommend the course more.
Circus
Awful layout, every hole was the same and the greens were the same. Awful pace took nearly 6 hours for a twosome to play. The fairways and greens were in bad condition as well.

Highly. Recommend
Hard work system off. The staff has worked hard to make this a enjoyable course. from staying ahead of the mowing to trimming the fairways and greens. Checking in the staff shows they appreciate your business. I would recommend Woodford Lakes for an enjoyable round of golf.
Fair course. Good for beginners.
Played on a wet wet Saturday. Staff was nice. Easy to get on and off course. Course is perfect for learning. Open fairways, not super long and rewards good shots. Not in the best shape, but for the right price, a good value.

Not worth it
Overpriced, no variety, straight with terrible fairways and greens

Front desk person was rude..
Arrived for an early round (740am) with my buddy having bought 2X18 holes using GolfNow. Was told that I only could have one golf cart. Was told "you need to read the fine print". I argued that there would be many cancellations that day because of predicted rain. (which arrived just as we finished the 18th hole) He relented begrudgingly, "just this last time".When we finished there were half of their total supply of carts still available. It was like he was doing us a favor when in fact we were two of very few who played that day. Terrible customer service. But the course was in good shape. They have improved it from last year.

Good time
Everything was ok! Not a lot of golfers on the course so pace of play wasn’t an issue this time. The fairways were a little more dead than usual but nothing the got in the way of gameplay.
Looking good
Played last year and was very disappointed. Went back today and was impressed with the work the staff has done. The course is in good condition and well manicured. Will definitely play here again.
Sprinklers and mowers
On 3 holes the sprinklers were still on! I teed off at 8 am and even on the back nine I hit my drive right in the middle of the fairway and in the path of the sprinklers! I had to wait for it to go around and hurry up my shot so as to not get soaked. The mowers seemed like they were on every hole. Very hard to concentrate on your shot when you have mowers right next to you and in the middle of the fairways. You should think about mowing earlier or later so the players can enjoy the course better. Thank you for mowing and keeping it nice, but the timing needs to be fixed

Completely Disagree with this review. If you couldn’t enjoy that course with that weather Saturday maybe it’s time to take up tennis.
Not sure we were playing the same course Saturday. Hands down one of the best maintained courses in the area.
