Best value in the area
Greens are usually pretty quick, decent fairways, and the layout is pretty enjoyable. The price is the lowest I’ve seen in the area but is typically in better shape than some of the “bigger” courses. They have a full food menu at “The View” restaurant. Don’t skip out on a hotdog at the turn. The only downside if any would be the pro shop is fairly small. So if you get mad and snap your driver, don’t expect to pick up a new Stealth at the turn. Great course and great staff and a must for anyone looking for a relaxing round of golf.

This was my 2nd time playing here just as the first time had a excellent time , one of my favorites so far !!!
Golf stop during travel
We were traveling so I picked a course with good reviews. It was pretty inexpensive and the staff was very friendly. The course was pretty dry. It looked like they hadn’t had rain in a while. Which may be the reason the fairways were a little rough. I felt though, this was a local’s favorite. We ate at the restaurant. It was very inexpensive and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive.

Appreciate all that work at Southwind GC...from carts very nice to course looking great...to staff in clubhouse & restaurant. But it was HOT outside!
Great course
I took a friend who never played at Southwind and it did not disappoint had a great time. Food and brew was very cheap and very good. Staff was great.
