Wicomico Shores Golf Course

I enjoy playing this course. It’s challenging enough but it’s fun and a good value for the money.

Great weather and nice course. Most of the course was in really good shape. I've played this course about 5 times this year. I enjoy it. This day it was a little slow on the back but every other time I've played the pace has been good.

The course was great. Had a great mix of shot types, with everything being fairly open. Pace of play was slightly not up to par, but I was playing by myself being behind 3 foursomes, so take that as a grain a salt. The staff was great, everyone was friendly. For a cheaper public course, I thought the course conditions were excellent, a select number of dry, hard spots, but what public course doesn't have that. Would rate a 4.5 star overall

Very friendly staff and reasonable cost. Played the course a few months ago and was in good shape. Severe lack of rain this year has taken a toll on golf courses in the area and the course was in rough overall shape due to the lack of rain.

Tee boxes were very worn and lacked turf. Greens were in pretty good shape and rolled, a bit slow, but true. A couple of places on the course where tree work was done wood chips were left and need to be cleaned up.

Overall, for the cost it is a decent course with very friendly staff and good pace of play. I don't know why golfers will not rake bunkers and fix ball marks.

The course was challenging for me because of the slow greens the putts had to be hit a little harder. The sand was very challenging for me as the fluffy sand is filled a hit with more power would have gotten me out.

It started with breakfast lady mopping floor didnt see her wash her hands and she went into kitchen preparing my order then she was also not using gloves immediately no thank you. I didn't say anything just left food i paid for one counter. Golf course in playing with a regular even he stated conditions where not ideal because of no rain. Every tee box patchy and almost bare. Most fairways where lacking grass or patchy. The only true thing the greens actually rolled fast and true. The layout was somewhat enjoyable and the guys i played with we nade it fun with good banter. We waited after 3rd hole a minimum of 5 to 10 min on every hole with pace of play. I don't think this course is worth the price they charged but not many courses in St.Marys so they can get away with it. I think food safety wise even the guy taking orders at bar they all need proper food safety training, texting on your phone that is not clean then touching money, preparing drinks, running people food you guys need to think about peoples safety.

This was my third time playing the course. It was in decent shape overall. but some work was being performed but didn't make a difference in play. Some fairways could use more grass, but for the price I paid, it was fine. Will play it again.

The course was in good shape for the time of year. The greens were really nice to look at but I was surprised at the breaks that didn't appear to be there on so many putts. I did enjoy the course .
