Wicomico Shores Golf Course

Course was in good condition considering the amount of rain lately. Good value for the money.

Great conditions and well worth the price. Friendly staff and good people all around. Pace of play was disappointing, had 3 different tee times on one hole the majority of the 18. It was also a holiday**

Wonderful little golf course for the community and area minus not cutting the greens that morning. Everything was very pleasant except for the idiots behind us who saw us on 10 tee waiting on a group in the fairway and on the green, followed by waiting in the fairway for the group on the green to clear in front of us decided to all tee off with two hitting into us and one hitting over us... This was followed by them yelling down to us when I threw my arms up "so what, we can see you" and "we aren't rushing you". That's what you get though for a municipal owned course in a rural area: low golf IQ and wannabe warriors. They got the hint though and gave us a 1–2-hole separation.

When I arrived I was first paired with a twosome. Right before we were getting ready to tee off I was held back and put with another group. I was told there would be a change which also put me a group behind my tee time. When I joined the new group, I was told that two of the guys had never played golf which made us slower than I wanted my round to be. The guys were really nice but I lived over an hour away and I was not prepared for this kind of grouping. I felt like the staff should have warned me instead of just saying there was a change. After 9 holes the group I was with told me to go ahead by myself. I ended up back with the original twosome because the two they had been paired up with joined another group. I felt like the whole thing was unprofessional and irritating. I probably will not go back to the course.

Overall I enjoyed my round. The fairways and not fully grassed over and it was a little difficult to create a divot but that will be fine as the season progresses.
